Bed comfort was average. The mattress was soft and flexible which meant when you rolled to the side the mattress would move in it’s frame, pillows were not good but i had a private room with two beds and two pillows made it better. The breakfast was all you needed and you could just enjoy a few coffees and toast. Wifi was very good although the place was quite empty when i was there. One particular staff was very good at english and was very helpful, in fact he got me a better price on a taxi than the prepaid service from the airport.
The price is good for the location. Staff is friendly, room was small but clean with a good mattress. The shared bathroom had a leak in the sink and the floor was flooded all of the time and the shower was not functioning properly, but was fixed as soon as I told them. Breakfast could be a bit better! But overall a nice place for a short and low-price stay.
Hostal Americano was easy to find, good location, friendly staff, and good breakfast. If i was to say anything bad it would be that the rooms are a little small and the bathrooms (shared) were really dirty, general day to day but also very worn. Breakfast consisted of ham, cheese, bread, avocado, oats, fruit, tea and coffee. Wifi was mostly good and communal/ back garden areas were comfy and well maintained. All in all a good stay. We stayed somewhere else in providencia for the same price which was excellent so if you can spare the time, look around.
Me and my boyfriend stayed from March 28 until April 1. Very well located (just two blocks from the station Santa Ana). Friendly people at reception at all times. Capricious chambermaids. The mattress was perfect. The only bad thing was that the shower does not have a stable temperature, is too cold or too hot. Beyond that, I loved.
Really good location for this price in the center. Just 10 min walk to the Plaza de Arma or two blocks to the next metro station. Next to the hotel is a supermarket. Breakfast is a bit low, but you cant expect more for a continental breakfast. Rooms are really clean and the stuff cleans them every day. If you need to have a taxi called, the stuff helps you out.
