loved the place - very comfortable and clean, totally friendly staff and a great breakfast is served every day. views to die for from the rooftop and the best location in Santiago regrettably we were caught in El Calafate due to bad weather and missed out connection - rung them to explain (a US$25 call due to global roaming) was told it would all be fine - however got charged for that night - no allowances of reduction - which means it ended up being an expensive stay!

Dear Guest, We are very glad you liked our hostel and your stay. I understand that you spent the equivalent of three nights for a two night stay. It does make it more expensive. We do understand that the weather was a fact that did not permit you to arrive on time and miss a connecting flight. In cases like this, if we can resell your room, we can make an exception and not charge you. We were not able to on such a short notice. Your reservation was done months in advance; the room was there for you and the charge was correct and fair. We hope you visit us again and enjoy the rest of your trip. Regards,

Rado is excellent! Clean, comfortable and with a nice breakfast. I liked the rooftop terrace a lot. Nice showers. Daily cleaning. Large lockers. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Busy neighborhood of Bellavista and super loud at night on the streets so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. They do fun events to create a nice social atmosphere. I stayed for four nights and they held my luggage for free when I went to Valparaiso for a few days. I happily returned for my last night in Santiago.

Amazing hostel experience! Property was tastefully done and very clean (they were always cleaning). Located in a great location...walking distance to many attractions and close to transit. Staff provided helpful advice on anything needed. Luggage storage was available for early check-ins/out. Secure entrance to the property. The roof top patio was a great spot to enjoy a drink at night and meet lots of guests. We didn't cook, but the kitchen appeared to be well stocked and a BBQ was also available. Breakfast was okay...good nourishment to start your day.

My friend and I stayed here for three nights in late January. I've been staying in hostels for close to twenty years, and this place is definitely towards the top of the list in terms of space, cleanliness, and modern amenities. There was plenty of room to put our things, and the ensuite bathroom had a great shower. Breakfast was fairly robust, with real coffee, fruit, eggs, meat/cheese, cereal, yogurt, and juice. You eat it on the fourth floor with a nice view of the Cerro San Cristobal. The location of this place is everything. We walked to many things right from the hostel, or walked to the nearby subway to get to others. Great food is also available within walking distance. The staff are friendly, and we'd like to thank Julian for being particularly accommodating. We highly recommend Rado Boutique Hostel!
