Great customer service and patio space! Rooms quaint but modern. Bar staff was top notch! Hotel is well laid out allowing for quick access to patio, front desk and bar. Very strict on COVID protocols which was welcomed! Definitely would return to stay!
The hotel is nice and cleans, polite service. The problem is food. Really, really bad kitchen. I was here because of a government instruction. Everyone entering the country during this month should stay 5 days in a hotel, payed by the traveler. I was working in Colombia for 2 weeks in a very good hotel, cheaper than this one by the way. I thought that because of this “ combo “ thing, food wasn’t good. I wasn’t sure so I ordered and payed for something special to eat. It was terrible, a pizza that looked and tasted like a cold bread and cheese. So if you want be in a good location near subway, restaurants, etc...this is a good place. If you are hungry, please pick the phone and ask for delivery or just take a walk and find a good place.
Stayed here for 1 night, booked a standard twin room for USD61. Took a shared airport transfer with TransVIP from the airport. Arrived around 10:40pm, the lobby area is nice. The reception staff asked to check the receipt given when I entered Chile. The staff mentioned about payment for the room, I remembered I had already paid through Hotels.com, I checked my record which confirmed this is the case so I let the staff know. He then went to check about this. Whilst waiting, I asked about food as I wanted to get a quick bite and was worried they will be closing soon, the reception staff said the bar (which is right next to the reception) is closed already. But when I looked over, a staff was standing there and didn't seem to be getting ready to close so I asked the reception staff again. He then said I could ask, not particularly helpful so fine, I went over and asked the bar staff myself. He said that they are still opened so wrong information from the reception staff. I ordered a pizza slice which was reheated by microwave/oven, very dry and not nice, wish they do some sort of sandwiches or salads. After I finished and went back to finish checking-in, another staff helped me and then again, took forever to check and confirm that I had already paid for the room and finally I could get the room key. Room is nice, for some odd reason, a king bed room and more expensive than a room with 2 double beds, so I booked for the latter despite travelling solo. This hotel is quite new so the room is modern, everything very clean. The breakfast is good with quite a number of hot items and pastries. They helped store my luggage after I checked out. The stay itself is good, however they really should look into improving the checking-in process. It is unprofessional to ask guests to pay when the room had already been paid in full. I never had this problem with any other hotels and online bookings and the check-in was one of the slowest I ever came across.…
