To start our trip we found this to be A really nice hostel in a smart part of town! A swimming pool with swim up bar and big garden for relaxing, was awesome for relaxing after long walks in the city! Rooms are huge with plenty of room for activities! I only visited Santiago for a few days, but thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Casa Roja Hostel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful regarding tips. The kitchen is very nice and large. There is also an outdoor bar, several common spaces (indoor and outdoors), as well as a swimming pool! The breakfast was standard and filling. While I...

My mum and I stayed here for two nights. We had booked a twin room, but since there was a problem with the room, we got a four-bed-room for ourselves instead. The house is just beautiful and has two inner courtyards as well as a wonderful garden with a bar and a pool. The pool was clean and you could...

The La Casa Roja building is amazing. Lovely high ceilings and sweeping corridors with lots of large open common areas. The outdoor area is great and the pool is well kept and clean. The hostel itself though needs a good clean and the bathrooms definitely need to be cleaned more regularly, but there are lot of them so you are...

I just wanted to comment on these two staff members who made my stay so much more enjoyable. We had a couple of great free tours and Pacho really looked after us and was so cool and friendly. Valentina was so helpful and professional on the front desk. Thanks guys for making my stay so fun!

This place has everything you need including a pool and heaps of common areas to chill out. Staff are friendly and helpful. The old building has plenty of character and my 4 bed dorm had curtains separating the bunks for a bit more privacy. Not the most convenient location for going out.

I arrived with a friend and we had originally only booked 2 nights. We loved the hostel so much we wanted to extend our stay and despite the popularity of the place Nicolas at reception was always more than happy to help, and exceeded our expectations every time. The outdoor pool area is well maintained and spacious. Great for social...
