My experience at Plaza de Armas Hostel was very good. Located on the city center, it's a perfect place to visit Santiago. The room was perfectly clean and opened on to a big terrace. The breakfast was good : coffee, toasted bread, jam, etc. I recommend this hostel without hesitation!

We stayed in a private room with a balcony to the Plaza de Armas and a kitchen area that is shared with one other private room. Our room and restroom were simple but spacious. We had private wifi in our room so it was fast. The receptionist and commons area had a chill vibe with plenty of open space, natural... More

Plaza de armas hostel is nicely located on one of the most recognizable places in all of Santiago. Overlooking the Plaza itself, this hostel on the 6th floor boasts impressive features and surprisingly low prices for such a central location. Strongly recommend it!

The location is fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the view of the plaza was marvelous. Their beds are very comfortable and I slept soundly and deeply. I never once felt uncomfortable with my belongings (but bring a lock for their lockers). I loved the charm of the building and the elevators are a fun ride every time.... More

The location is absolutely fabulous. Our room had a balcony overlooking the plaza, great place to start your day. Staff is friendly, kitchen is properly equipped and a lot of info is provided for the various tours in and around the city. A certain added value to your stay in Santiago!

The place was on the 6 th floor of a very old building. The wooden lift can only fit 2 people with bags but still the conductor packs them in! The building is noisy with cats in the hallway and does not feel safe. There are cats in the reception area also and cat hair on all the chairs. Our... More

This hostel is so well located to all Santiago has to offer and there is plenty. Museums, Galleries, Gardens etc. So much history everywhere you go. Most staff at least at reception speak decent English. On check make sure you do not give your PDI slips and tell them they can copy it. We have asked multiple hotels/hostels in Chile... More

Great hostal to stay in, with super location. All rooms look out on the Plaza, and there are lockers available in the hall - you need to have your own lock though. Breakfast was Spartan, one pan and tea/coffee, and there was some confusion whether you could have more. One morning we got another bread, the other morning we were... More
