Javiera & family see you on 2019 🍻.
Thanks for everything.
Sensational spot with an astonishing view of volcano and lake. Relax atmosphere yet close to town if you want to explore around. Private beach leads to a beautiful trekking by the lake. Owner Javiera was most helpful and welcoming, providing us with every piece of...More
We booked Bordemundo due to the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor and other sites and we made the right choice. Our cabin, Notro, sits high above the lake and has incredible views of Volcano Osorno and Calbuco. We had a great wood stove that was hardly...More
Javiera gave us a delightful tour of their farm and greenhouses. It was such a fun, unique experience. She told us about all of the animals, showed us their gardens and greenhouses, let us feed the chickens and even let me collect some fresh, warm...More
This was my second time staying at these wonderful Cabanas. This time I got the cabanas with the best view of Orsono, and WOW what a view! Javie & Lathan's hospitality is fantastic as always and I really had such a wonderful and relaxing time....More

Definitely. There's a cheap little blue bus (colectivo) that comes maybe every half an hour and you can just flag them down and then get off wherever you want downtown in like 5-10 minutes (for 500CLP or so), or better yet you can get a taxi (I don't remember how much, but it's like 4000-6000 CLP or something - pretty cheap). Javiera can book a taxi for you if you prefer. She is incredibly helpful. You can also walk to the local grocery store just a few minutes down the road. There's a protected bike lane (but no sidewalk) for most of it, but it's a safe walk - like half a mile.
A car most certainly helps get around at your own leisure. However there are taxies (usually need to call them however they will pick you up out side your cabin) and a local bus that runs past the gate every... More
A car most certainly helps get around at your own leisure. However there are taxies (usually need to call them however they will pick you up out side your cabin) and a local bus that runs past the gate every 45min.
Restaurants are all on the road that passes us as you come from downtown and we are 3km away from downtown. Sightseeing that depends on what you want to see, if you want to see a lot I do recommend having a car. However you can take the local busses to most sights or even arrange a tour with a taxi driver and lastly there are the tours offered in town. We can usually help you book over the phone with most of them.
