Small (6 rooms) and very homey, this hotel sits on a bluff with a great view of the Llanquihue Lake. The pool was being filled as we arrived in early Spring (late October) so visitors there later can enjoy the brisk waters. We did use the hot tube briefly. Short walk to the lake if you want to take a...

It was a shame we could only stay two nights. This well-appointed boutique hotel offers not only a very accommodating chef with supportive staff, but a restive atmosphere after a long day of touring the environs. A glass of wine and appetizers of Chilean olives by the fireplace in an inviting common area to view the wonderful sunset or local...

We stayed here for a whole week and it was awesome! I want to thank Cecilia Fernandez, who runs the hotel, as well as Isabel Duhalde (owner) , who made our stay so enjoyable. Cannot forget to mention Javier (chef) and all the staff who work there, who were so nice and helpful! We ate locos, fresh king crab (the...

As already mentioned by several reviews, Los Caiquenes is a very charming small boutique hotel located just in front of Lake Llanquihue, with a stunning view of the lake and Osorno Volcano. The place is a former family manor house converted into a 8-room hotel some five ago, mixing typical local architecture and décor (the house is covered in typical...

We stayed here for several nights and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the setting. It is a small boutique hotel, run by a lovely couple who go out of there way to help guests. The hotel is situated off the road, and looking out over the lake. The huge windows make the most of the view. There is not much...

This is a boutique hotel located about 7 kms from the city of Puerto Varas. It is owned and managed by a charming couple, he is a very good chef (I recommend to have dinner at least once). The rooms are clean, good towels, amenities plus an outstanding view of the lake. I loved the possibility to have breakfast at...

Los Caiquenes Hotel is a lovely and very hospitable place to stay! The property is tucked away above Puerto Varas, along the main road, so the vibe is easygoing and tranquil. The design is simple yet elegant, with big windows that showcase uplifting views of the sky and landscape. Our room and bathroom were very dapper, and we loved relaxing...

I stayed here with 9 friends on vacation and it was absolutely sublime. I would strongly recommend it for couples as well. It is a little bit hard to find and far from the center of town but well worth it. The view from the room and hot tub are stunning. The rooms are clean, well-furnished and comfortable. There is...

This is a botique hotel by definations, good rooms, very good amienties, excellent hospiatility. There is the possibility also to have dinner in the hotel, as the hotel is in a nice place in front of the lake, but in a isolated area. It is not cheap, but if you can afford it is a nice and relaxing place to...

Originally we did not have a hire car and a taxi took us from Puerto Montt airport to Los Caiquenes (28.000 Chilean pesos). It would have been a good idea for us to read directions given by previous guests on the Tripadvisor site!... Anyway: a superb place to stay and because it is so discreetly signposted, it almost feels like...
