The owner and people at Weisserhaus were wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast was good, the small room had a bed that sagged in the middle. Hopefully they have replaced it. The hotel is in a great location in downtown Puerto Varas.
We had 2 nights here. It is quaint and homely in a fantastic location with on site parking. It was a bit tricky with communication but the elderly gentlemen owner saved the day! The breakfast was nice, with eggs too and we were able to get some water for a cup of tea later in the day. Housekeeping was great, clean and spotless and the weaving all around were lovely! Wi fi pretty good.
We were only there one night, but the service was excellent. My husband has a disability and our luggage was whisked away for us. We Lhasa to leave early the next morning, and they fixed us breakfast before the normal time. They explained how to get to the downtown and the tour agency location. Stay was perfect.
The hotel located two blocks from downtown, perfect for walking distance to visit the area. The rooms are small, but confortable Poor heating when the climate is cold. Breakfast was excellent!!! WI FI was good in the room.
Chileans we met in Santiago and elsewhere were remarkably gracious but servers in this hotel, including front desk, had to struggle to produce a smile (and most often did not). Room was spotlessly clean but a request to fix the safe, though promised when we left at 9 am, was not done when we returned at 2:30 pm.
