Great place to relax for a couple of days as hotel was surrounded by nature. Service staff were polite and friendly. We chose to have our tea set served inside the room so the staff brought in a small coffee table for us. Housekeeping did a good job as room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely return again.

Stayed 2 nites as part of a yoga retreat cum staycation. The overall experience was so pleasant and blissful that I have recommended the Villa to friends and family. The forest setting made us feel like we were in some overseas resort. Sounds of birds and crickets were our constant companions. The room was very comfy and clean. It's clear that the hotel had paid great attention to details, from the free facemasks to the delicious local fruit basket to the drinking water in the copper jug to the squeaky clean bathroom. The food at Tamarind Hill restaurant was really authentic Thai and delicious. Luv their homemade pineapple spread! The yoga teacher, Sze Ja, is a fully qualified yoga teacher. She was very friendly, patient and absolutely qualified to teach us yoga. Highly recommend her! Of course, the staff from start to end were absolutely wonderful and made us feel welcomed. They were shorthanded but we were never left to feel underserved. For this, they deserve accolades especially since it was right after covid restrictions were lifted. Definitely coming back again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay especially with the natural surroundings and proximity to Labrador Park. The design of the villa was rustic, colonial and loved the overall experience. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom were spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay as the location was beautiful, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had requested for a little something special (as we were celebrating an occasion), and they were kind enough to oblige with decorations on the bed. They had offered some complimentary dessert in their email, but failed to follow through on the day itself. It could be more polished for the price we paid. The room had limited floor space, and sparse furnishing as a result. For a SGD 700 per night (2 pax), we only had the bed & 2 outdoor chairs to lounge on. We did have an in built jacuzzi with bath salts provided, however the hot water and jet streams were only on for a short amount of time - not specified to us by the staff. When it was on, the temperature was lukewarm at best. The jacuzzi could be a lot cleaner as well. I was not too enticed by the appearance of the water. Whilst the hotel had included some lovely details such as a copper jug and cups to use, there were clearly areas of neglect. For example, certain soap dispensers weren't working very well/ lose/ clogged with dried soap. The food was mediocre by Singapore's standards for the price. They have a lovely bar but unfortunately it was not in business throughout our entire stay. Overall I appreciate the quaintness and simplistic beauty of the place. No doubt it takes a lot to be maintained, as the price did not quite seem to justify the amenities provided. Nonetheless we would like to thank the staff for doing their best to make our stay an enjoyable one.

This was a beautiful solo holiday, which was 5 star. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the ibrary to read ir do work class is beautiful and the food taste, presentation and all the complimentary extra or afternoon tea is first class. I even got complimentary foot massage from sheela and Preya was so lovely front of house, the food from tamarind hill is premium standard, try the tom yum soup ! I will be bringing back the family for the plunge pool room.

Had the opportunity to chat with my bartender Jia Bao during my stay at Villa samadhi..it felt like he welcomed me into his home, which actually gave me good vibes...he was gracious and served us our drinks...he even had a couple of recommendations...he offered to make my wife a special non-alcoholic cocktail which was really very good and impressive...I'm so thankful for our Housekeeper Jaya Letchumi to introduce us to the bartender and for giving us good insights about the place...absolute thanks to the 2 great souls in Villa Samadhi...

Hotel is really close to nature, right in labrador park. The walk to the Tamarind Hill restaurant on the bridge is very calming. They even offered free yoga classes! Free afternoon tea, free sundowner cocktails at Tamarind Hill Restaurant, free breakfast and at 6+pm, they even delivered some red wine to the room! Just that cause its really close to nature, do not leave food exposed in your room cause it ll attract some ants. I got the rustic crib room that has a wooden bathtub. Sitting there and letting the rain shower hit on your back is really relaxing. Great service from Jaya!

Those that visited this "villa" will be able to relate to my title as I had zero feel-good experience staying here. The service counter is very inattentive and unhospitable, similarly with their "restaurant" staff often missing in action. I resented the dollar spent here and walked to Labrador Park which I also find was waste of time. Generally, I am quite disappointed and unimpressed with the overrated natural parks in Singapore, nonetheless, I love their concrete parks tho.

We were blown away by our stay at the Crib room in Villa Samadhi. We stayed from 30th Dec to 1st January. The service was impeccable and the best I have experienced so far. Having travelled to many countries and experienced staying in many different accommodation, the service in Villa Samadhi is unrivalled. We were spoiled from the time we arrived and checked in. One of the lady staff (apologies missed her name) checked us in and the process is so simple and personalised. We were then greeted by Jaya who took us to our room and shown us the rooms and facilities. The room is rustic and has that certain old charm. There are a couple of issues with the room but very minor, as it is not a new property. I was from a hospitality industry many years ago so understood the maintenance that comes with this type of property. All the amenities are very well thought and considered. We had our welcome drink and the breakfast on both days were amazing - pastries, fruits and a hot cooked meal. Nothing to complain about. We were greeted by all the staff in a very welcoming and friendly way. We requested for a late checkout and was granted easily with no questions asked. If you are looking for a staycation or to celebrate any events, this is the place to be. It is away from the hustle and bustle of city life but close enough to drive to town. We love waking up to birds chirping and the smell of soil, plants, flowers and greenery after the rain is a nice change from the city pollutants. Highly recommended this property. Will definitely be recommending this property to my friends and will return next time. Thank you to all the wonderful staff that made our stay a memorable one. The property is set in a very beautiful nature reserve, where walks through the Labrador Park is easy and scenic. Lots of beautiful nature and historical lessons to be learned.

The hotel rates are pricey and the rooms aren’t that big. Though the settings are rustic, set in a nature reserve, I’m not sure if that commands a premium. If you booked through third party website, you don’t get welcome drinks, dining discount at Tamarind Hill. Better to book direct. May even get cheaper rates.
