We had 2 nights stay and booked 2 rooms. Check in was smooth and rooms were well appointed, spacious with super comfy beds. Well furnished with adequate amenities. What stood out most were the staff, very welcoming, friendly & accommodating. Room service & breakfast were awesome too. Everything is remarkable & will definitely return for staycation again!

Been coming to this hotel for the last 5 years and I must say with each stay I get increasingly disappointed. The service is great but the rooms look like it’s needs a make over. With broken or torn curtains and window sheen, misaligned doors and chipped wood work, I think I get less vexed at other 6 star accommodations. The greater disappointment could be because it’s St Regis !! 3 stars only because of service which just made it above normal. In covid I note hoteliers are less polite… 😖 I have made these observation over many years to the hotel management so I guess it’s not an issue with the room / maintenance departments. 😞🤦🏻

At 52sqm, the Grand Deluxe Room was really spacious but its "old world" decor looked dated was in need of a refresh and updates. Sadly, there was no Nespresso machine in the room and only a rather poor quality French press style coffee was provided. There were power points at the work desk and some sort of near the bedside tables. The internet speed is very good with 16Mbps download and 28Mbps upload. The TV was small at 42" and being ancient meant that there was no screen mirroring or Chromecast capabilities. Connecting directly to the HDMI was a pain as well as I learnt from the technician that it required dismounting the TV from the console. On the bedside, there was a nice (if a little muffled sound) Geneva bluetooth speaker, which was the same used in One Farrer Hotel. The large bathroom area had a nice standing tub and double vanities with a generous amount of counter space. The bathroom amenities were from a mixture of its inhouse Laboratoire Remède brand and Pharmacopia which unfortunately seemed like commonplace drugstore brands and did not feel or smell luxurious in any way. Interestingly, there were mirrors everywhere in the bathroom. There was a massage shower of sorts, but because the body spray's pressure was low, it did not work particularly well. The toilet was old with no soft closing cover and the water cistern was also not really working well then. But one thing I always appreciate was the in-bathroom hairdryer. The butler service I had heard so much about unfortunately fell rather flat - giving the reason of high occupancy, any requests requires a minimal waiting time of 30 minutes. The a la carte buffet breakfast was a really good one though and I really enjoyed the laksa served that day. I also tried the Epicurean omelette which I had heard great reviews of but mine while still nice was overcooked.

We just completed 2N3D Staycation today, one word to describe "AWFUL". From the Check-in which took 45mins to every experience has been just to forget. Rooms - cozy and nice, nothing to rave about it. TV - Old type and can't play Netflix or any other OTT, can't mirror cast as well. Service - Extremely Bad Ordered Lunch @ 1pm and received at 3pm. Ordered Drinks @ 4;30pm and received @ 6:45pm Day 2, the room was not at all cleaned, even though DND was not on and we weren't in the room. We had to call few times and finally around 7pm it was done. All other hotels provide turn down service but not here... Breakfast is ordinary nothing great to talk about it, both the days staff got our orders wrong. Food, doesn't taste great and hefty price. Since the Lockdown in Mar'20, we have stayed in few properties of Marriott in SG(Westin, W, JW Marriott, Marriott Tang Plaza, Courtyard), I must say this was most pathetic experience. Surely St. Regis not calibrated to cater to needs of the guests during this period.
