I really enjoyed my stay at the St Regis. I got a very nice room at the 20th floor which I liked very much. I didn‘t make use of the Butler service - I only read about it after departure. I suggest the receptionist should...More
When one enters the lobby of the St. Regis Singapore, one is immediately struck by the classy, understated décor in a pale, pastel colour-scheme with paintings and chandeliers. This creates expectations of a civilised experience…which, in my case, was only partly realised.

Shopping is a national pastime for Singaporeans, and after a visit to Orchard Road it’s easy to see why. This seemingly endless boulevard boasts a dizzying selection of shopping centers. From bargain basement foragers to designer label big-spenders, there is something for everyone. For those just browsing, there are countless restaurants, food courts, and cinemas, as well as the odd street entertainer to keep you
amused. Most of the malls are connected by underground walkways, offering a break from the sun on a hot day. Bring a credit card and some comfortable shoes, and plunge into the excitement.

I’m guessing you want to earn points or night stays with SPG? St regis in good location but the W is out of the way but short drive to everywhere. I don’t stay at either anymore. I stay at vagabond it’s a great small boutique hotel and it’s in little India. 5 minutes to the shopping or 10 downtown. It’s small but food amazing. The warehouse is another option for you to look at. If looking to be where shopping is? Than st regis but as Platinum guest no more snacks and only one drink in the bar now. The breakfast buffet is also gone totally downhill. I’m in SG 6 times a year. Hope this helps
