We needed a taxi to get to the hotel with our luggage, and it's a bit of a hike to a metro stop, but the room was large by Asian standards, very well furnished, clean, quiet and comfortable. Good security too. You can probably stay cheaper in Singapore, but for a balance of quality and quiet, and no risk of... More

We stayed here for one night while in town for a concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. We were unable to make it to the hotel before the show, so we only reached the hotel at about 2 a.m. Although we had called before to inform the staff that we'd be arriving late, it was a pleasant surprise to have... Friendly, helpful staff - helped us with going to the Zoo, gave us an umbrella. On check out, they stored our stuff away with no fuss. When the taxi arrived, the girl rushed outside and asked the taxi driver to back into the drive way to make things easier for us (luggage). Perfect! Excellent location - Located next door to... I stayed in a room, rather than a dorm, and it was clean and functional. Not exactly exciting, but very good value and in a good location for Little India and the centre of town, though it is at the top of a hill.

So we didn't actually get to stay at Hangout@Mt Emily. Our baby boy got sick and was hospitalised, so we weren't able to take our planned trip. I emailed Hangout and let them know, and they offered us a full refund due to our circumstances! So if you're worried about paying the full price upfront when booking, don't be! They... More

I went here with my dance group for 7 nights to be exact, and when I first stepped into this budget hotel, i said to my friend, "what a cute hotel, its so homey" and yes it was. The rooms are really small, especially the group ones. I actually shared my room with 3 other girls, and it was fun... More

Hangout @ Mount Emily is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The rooms were really nicely set out with a bathroom inc. shower in the room. The front desk welcome, book in, information and checking out was excellent. They have good internet connection with computers you can use for free and they have an awesome roof terrace. Hangout... This was my first time at Hangout. I have been to Singapore twice before and both times stayed at the Pan Pacific which I loved, but it is very expensive and basically full of business travelers with badges on. I had a corner room at the Hangout which had an amazing view. Our room was quiet, had great a/c and... More

I've been to Singapore twice already and both times, I stayed at the Hangout Hotel. It's not the Four Seasons, but I have to say that it's a very good place to stay in when you're in Singapore. Why? 1. It's affordable. If you're going to Singapore, chances are you're going to be doing cultural sightseeing or shopping or going... More

I stayed here several times while I traveled throughout Asia and the Indian Ocean, and I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they offered many conveniences that other hotels don't such as free internet, a discounted shuttle to the airport, luggage lockers, free movies, and even an in house restaurant. The views from the higher floors... More
