My friend and I stayed here for 3 days 2 nights and overall the experience was great. Clean dorm, air cond was nice, the toilet was ok but in my opinion what made it awesome was the free scooter tour. Without it I think our stay would be just ok. The tour covered a distance of about 14km which at...

This hostel is definitely a bit of good and bad: Good - free scooter tour (however it was sold out so I could not go.. didn't even have a chance to sign up as it was sold out wen I checked in-- this can also be a negative) - rooms are quiet after 10 or 11pm - lobby has a...

Good value for money and in a good location close to a MRT station. Rooms were pretty cramped and dirty, could do with a spruce up but it was fairly cheap compared to other places in Singapore. The downstairs social area is nice and friendly, just gutted I missed out on the scooter tour!

Pros: 1. Good location, nearby MRT station and 7/11 is just next door 2. Bathroom has just renovated. Hot shower available. 3. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and breakfast cons: 1. My mattress is a bit too squishy 2. nearby cafe plays music until past midnight. unless you have the first floor room, probably a bit hard to sleep

I really don't regret my choice by booking this hostel ! I enjoyed the free breakfast which was until 12 for people who like to sleep during the morning. But the best part was the free scooter tour where I visited awesome places and also maid amazing friends during the tour !

Negatives 1) We paid to stay in 8 bed dorm, we were put in a 12, when we asked they said they "keep a few beds unoccupied" yet every night there was at least 9 of us. 2) our room had door leading to balcony so every night we would have everyone coming in and out our room 3) Toilets...

I never realized that i was going to be having so much fun at this hostel. The staff are friendly and open, the wifi is not too bad, breakfast could be better however there is one thing that beats them all. The Scooter Tour. It is a little dangerous in the beginning however after a while it just gets epic....

There's always that notion that Singapore is expensive. Well, it is in a lot of ways however if you know where to go, what to do and where to stay, it's still possible to enjoy Singapore without spending and splurging a lot. One place best to stay if you're in a budget in The Inncrowd Backpackers Hostel. It's located at...

We stayed here for 4 nights as a couple in a dorm room. Location is ok, it's only a minute walk to the station, or a half an hour walk into the city. The facilities are good including shared kitchen and bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't do the scooter tour because I wasn't feeling well...

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
