This is a great hotel for anyone not wanting to spend a fortune on accommodation in Singapore. It is right next to Rocher Metro and on the edge of Little India. Just across the road from Sim Lim Centre which is great for camera shoppers. Our room was noisy on Friday as it is near a mosque, otherwise a good... More

I have been using this as my go-to residence while in Singapore. Always pleasant. Friendly environment. Rooms are sufficient. Plenty of food nearby. MRT stations within walking distance. Bus and taxis are convenient too. Quiet environ despite being in Little India

Perak hotel located near the rochor mrt station. It's a budget friendly hotel. Neat and clean, bit tiny in term of room sizes but staffs are friendly and helpful. Within budget you will be able to get a room with complementary breakfast which worth it.

We stayed in the loft, which is an apartment size room (two bed rooms, living room, small kitchen, bathroom). Great fit for the 5 of us. With the wooden floor however, we were asked to be a bit quiet in walking around. Not easy with little boys that like to run and jump... WIFI also did not reach as far... More

We booked this off the net after reading reviews and looking for cheaper and valued accommodation. I can not rank this place any better than I had hoped. First impression, staff. They are genuine and friendly all the time. It's the little things that make a difference...They picked up it was my wife's Birthday and presented her with a cake... More

Staff go the extra yard to make your stay pleasant, but the accommodation is quite basic. The price is cheap by Singapore standards, and the location is perfect for soaking up the Little India ambiance. Okay for a couple of nights, but wouldn't want to stay here for a holiday.

We chose this hotel, due to reasonably prices, location and that hotel being in a restored building. Since this a restored building (more than a century old), it has some issues - no lifts, noisy wooden floor. If you are looking for a hotel with modern design, this is not the place for you. Otherwise hotel has a charming classic... More

I stayed here a couple of times. The first time was OK. The best part about the hotel is the location. It is about a minute's walk from the MRT station and is close to lots of markets and great hawker food. The hotel is old and the rooms are fairly basic. Breakfast is included but has little choice (one... More

People who likes to stay in little India this is a good hotel where good indian food is easily available. This hotel is adecent hotel which meets our average requirements without fail keeping in mind we spend most of the time going out for sight seeing. Felt rooms a bit small and bed was just sufficient for me.

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
