We stayed at the Bliss Hotel in Chinatown, Singapore for 3 nights. We had a teeny time room but we were in there only to sleep so couldn't care less about that, and for the price and location it was excellent value (SD$110 per night!). Very clean and had everything we needed. We loved the location - downstairs and around...

First off the location is great. Literally across the road from Chinatown MRT and not far from most city attractions. The staff are great, very polite and always willing to help. Rooms are neat and modern but small and i mean small. If your sharing with a partner, they will need to leave the room while your in the bathroom....

We recently traveled to Singapore to visit our daughter who has relocated there for work. We stayed at the Bliss Hotel for a couple of days and were very pleased with our accommodations. The only problem that arose was that my husband is an insulin dependent diabetic. They provided a refrigerator to store his insulin in our room but we...

I stayed as part of a larger tour group and got assigned an individual room. I was afraid as we were told they were like pods and really small but I found it perfectly fine for a short stay. The hotel is just across the Chinatown metro station and in front of a mall with many good food choices. At...

Stayed at bliss hotel only for a night. But definitely worth to stay for a few more nights. Modern rooms and very comfortable beds. Located near Chinatown. Busy during weekends and a great place to be during the day. Also friendly and careful employees! Really recommendable.

Located right in the heart of Chinatown, with shops, restaurants, and street foods are plenty. The Hotel room was clean and comfy, quite small though. The shower was great and clean! Whats cool is they provide a free mobile phone where our friends can call us, has tips and discounts on most attractions, and we used it to navigate the city...

Bliss hotel is a boutique hotel located in Chinatown Singapore. From the airport, I took MRT to Chinatown station and exit station at Exit E. Walking up the stairs then I saw the hotel right there on Upper Cross street. The reception area was small but well decorated in Modern Chinese style. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The check...

The hotel is very clean. However, the windows are all locked. You will need to inform the hotel to unlock the windows. We were afraid if there is a fire, we will be trapped. The hotel provide a free cell phone for us to use. We can navigate, make phone call and buy discounted tickets. It is very nice. The...

Bliss Hotel is located in the heart of Chinatown, across the street from the Chinatown MRT station. Pros: Great location. Tons of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood and lots of temples, markets, and museums to visit during the day. Easy to get to other parts of the city by train or bus. Cons: We had an interior room with...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
