These guys really know their guests. Centrally located hotel in Chinatown. Comfy beds and clean rooms. Room comes complete with a phone with unlimited local data use and for local calls - perfect for that short stopover when you don't want to buy a local SIM, or go with roaming rates on your own phone. We used ours when out... More

The hotel is very centrally located near a lot of areas to visit and conveniently across from the Chinatown metro station. The room was clean and spacious enough. They provided complimentary water every day. Wifi worked fine and there was a safe for valuables. Staff were friendly but didn't know much about the main sights of the city. If you... More

Our stay of 3 nights was a love hate relationship. We booked a "superior" room that was nicely decorated but we failed to see the "superior" aspects. The first room we were provided on the ground floor was small with barely enough room to move about and it had no window. We were then moved to a room on the... More

This is a perfect choice for Chinatown - MRT station across the street, great hawker centers nearby - and at the same time, a bit farther away (5 mins walk) from the most crowded, busy and touristic Chinatown streets. Rooms are nice, boutique decor, very nice bathroom. Staff is great and attentive - accommodated to our request to stay in... More

We stayed 1 night at the hotel , the walls between the rooms are paper thin and you can hear people talking , toilets being flushed , showers being used and so on. Its is VERY close to the Chinatown MRT and plenty of food options a short walk away beds where comfy take your earplugs if you are a... More

Best location, clean room and very helpful staffs. Room is not big but worth the price paying for. Foods around the hotel are alot of choices and delicious. FREE Wi-Fi and luggage storage service. Even shower room was offered.

All I can say is you can hear EVERYTHING. Every door opening and closing, the lift pinging, people coughing, toilet flushing, people going to the toilet - and all as if it is in your room. If you want to sleep, don't stay here. Also I thought a room without a window wouldn't be a problem as we would be... More

The hotel is very easily accessible from the station and the staff is friendly the drawback for me was that the rooms are too small and the hotel doesn't provide breakfast but overall my experience was nice with the hotel as the staff is very helpful.

Bliss rooms are the perfect size for one traveller. It can get a little cramped with two adults and two suitcases, but it's doable. (And after going to the Chinatown Heritage Museum around the block to see how people used to live in Chinatown, the room seemed massive!) And as many mentioned, the windows don't let in a lot of... This is our second stay at the Bliss Hotel. We like its close proximity to the Chinatown MRT and the Chinatown Point shopping centre; across the road. Our room was a Superior Double situated on the ground floor which meant we had no windows. The room is quite small and the shower and toilet open directly into the room. There... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
