My friend and I travelled to Singapore in May/June of 2016. It was our first time heading to Singapore. We arrived at the hotel at night, where we were greeted by friendly staff - our room was a 'windowless room', this is why we got the room for so cheap. Honestly, i loved the fact that there was no window.... More

The hotel is in an excellent location and decorated to a nice standard (reflecting the images on the website). Our room was one of the cheapest, which we found on our arrival meant we had no windows. Although not a complete disaster, it did make getting up in the mornings more difficult as there was no natural light. The hotel... More

Had a weekday staycation locally and decided to try this boutique hotel. Located in and around many pretty shophouses is a plus point. Check-in experience was fine but credit card got charged twice for deposit due to system error I guess. Ambience was good and staff were quite friendly. Pretty room design and toilet wall tiles, I would say. But... More

Third visit here, booked patio/garden rooms which were very comfortable and larger than the Heritage rooms we had last year. However the hotel seems to have last some of its attention to detail, which seemed to set it apart from other hotels last year - coffee machines in rooms have gone, the local breakfast at Ah Tongs has gone (agreeably... I booked a porch room for my bf's birthday and it wasn't what it seen like the internet has portrayed it be. Bath amenities wasnt the imported one which was what we were supposed to be entitled to. Porch was much smaller than what it was shown. Went down to the receptionist and asked but to my dismay they had... More

We arrived in Naumi Liora around 12 midnight, and we were really happy that we got our room right away. We were only 2 in our group, and we got the quaint room. The room was good for the two of us. The space was small, but they really maximized the use of room's space. Room cleaning is everyday, and... More

I stayed here through a friend's arrangement. What I like about Naumi at Keong Saik are: - Location: close to traditional Singaporean elements (the wet market, bustling Chinatown, community centres) and modern elements (convenience store, cafes, bars, shopping centres, plazas, etc) - Accessibility: not directly in front of a bus stop, but easily walk-able from MRT stations (Outram Park &... I stayed here for 6 days in May - my room had a great balcony and was a good size - there was a breakfast arrangement with the cafe across the street that worked well and the hotel was surrounded by great bars and restaurants and 3 mi s walk to Duxton Hill for more of the same. Will stay... More

We particularly enjoyed the location of this hotel, on trendy Keong Saik Road with several restaurants, bars and cafes easily accessible as well as Chinatown (and train station) just a short stroll down the road. We found it very easy to get around, and enjoyed everything that the area had on offer. Our room was clean and great value, and... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
