Our room was windowless. It didn't matter one bit, and they say there was a big rainstorm in the night, yet despite being partly under sloping ceiling, we did not hear a thing. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and everything is nice and clean. There is no restaurant but this area has many, at very varying prices,... More

We're also glad to hear that you have the service provided by our Naumi Aides and the location of our hotel. Do check out our website for exclusive discounts when... More

Room 237. Second Floor. Opposite Potato Head Pub. Upon entering the Double Heritage Room it looked clean and tidy. There is limited space for the luggage but that is the case in most hotel rooms. When we stood in the shower there was a sound like water trapped in between the tile floor and lining below that, dirty and smelly... More

Great hotel. Staff very helpful. Room without Windows was fine. Compact but nevertheless had everything we needed. Room was clean. Shower was good. Situated near China town and MRT. Could get 2 all locations.

It is located in the heart of Chinatown: it is near two MRT stations (about 10 minutes walking). The hotel is not so big due to the size of the building which is a colonial building completely restored. The rooms are great and really modern with a nice balcony/mini terrace with a table and some chairs to have some relax.... More

Dear Eleonora B, Thanks for the wonderful review. You are right to point out that Naumi Liora is restored building. Residing within a restored 1920s Peranakan-styled townhouse, it still preserves several of the building's architectural features including its French-styled windows and 'five-foot way'. We are pleased to know that our Naumi Aides have been of great help during your stay... More

When we were checking in, there were two staffers, both of whom looked distressed. After a few minutes with them, I realized that it was not distress; they were just really rude and unpleasant people. I had booked the Quaint Queen room, which had no windows, and no comprehension of what a queen bed is either. We ended up in... More

Dear 09j20lang, Thank you for letting us know of your stay experience. It's with much regret to hear that your stay wasn't up to expectations. Naumi Liora resides within a restored 1920s Peranakan-styled townhouse. As such, every room is different and structural changes are restricted. Therefore, the assigned room is different from the one depicted in the photos and additional... More

Very friendly helpful staff. Good location in Chinatown. Very clean, modern with some old world charm Can be a little noisy at night as the corridors are not very wide and the corridor floors are wooden. But I wouldn't let this stop you from staying there. I would definitely stay again. Short 3-5 min walk to the Chinatown food and... More

My friend and I travelled to Singapore in May/June of 2016. It was our first time heading to Singapore. We arrived at the hotel at night, where we were greeted by friendly staff - our room was a 'windowless room', this is why we got the room for so cheap. Honestly, i loved the fact that there was no window.... More

The hotel is in an excellent location and decorated to a nice standard (reflecting the images on the website). Our room was one of the cheapest, which we found on our arrival meant we had no windows. Although not a complete disaster, it did make getting up in the mornings more difficult as there was no natural light. The hotel... More

Dear stevendanielpugh, Thanks for your review. Naumi Liora resides within a restored building thus we are unable to make structural changes. To this end, the windowless rooms can pose advantages to those who prefer extra peace during their stay. If you prefer a room with window, we recommend staying in our Heritage or Porch room in future. The latter even... More

Had a weekday staycation locally and decided to try this boutique hotel. Located in and around many pretty shophouses is a plus point. Check-in experience was fine but credit card got charged twice for deposit due to system error I guess. Ambience was good and staff were quite friendly. Pretty room design and toilet wall tiles, I would say. But... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
