Rooms are OK, Neat and clean, Front office is not so great - pretty tough to deal & explain, But if you are looking for a accessible location with a lot of Indian restuarant near by this is the place. But to me not the best experience

I stayed at Parkroyal during the F1 and the hotel was massive, with over 500 rooms. It was fairly full though didn't feel like it was at full occupancy. The rooms were the main letdown, they were outdated, tired and in need of a refurbishment. We had breakfast included and the choice was excellent, quality was average and there was... More

Really nice room and great location close to City Square Mall which has lots of restaurants and the MRT, just a couple of stops from Clarke Quay and the rest of downtown. Try to get access to the lounge, just the free alcohol alone is worth it as alcohol is very expensive in Singapore. Also free food and coffee throughout... More

The hotel is clean, tidy, welcoming and strategically situated near Mustafa, MRT station and a modern mall with a big food court. Its comfortable and full with all modern facilities. The price is at par with other same standard hotels of the region. Free parking is a catch. Ideal for business and leasure travelers.

Well, we were a bit apprehensive about the service and the facility after reading previous reviews on Tripadvisor. But we were very pleasantly surprised. We had booked two rooms and reached the hotel around 9:30 hrs from the airport after a overnight journey. We had requested for early check-in as we had a child in the family (the normal check... I had stayed at Hotel Royal park during my business visit and found very convenient to travel within city. The good part is that its located centrally specially for Indian food lovers. This is best hotel to stay in Singapore....very close to Little India including Mustafa shop and all fabulous Indian restaurant. Rooms are pretty good and spacious...Only limiting factor... More

After a brilliant 8 day holiday in Vietnam, we stopped over in Singapore for 2 nights and were extremely disappointed with the Park Royal's impersonal service. the quality of the room was less than standard - mold in the bathroom tiles, really poor television reception and less than average views from the 17th floor. Drinks were overpriced.

A Railway station and not a hotel lobby, unfriendly and inefficient staff, who tried to overcharge and then argue about it. Unruly and loud clients dominate the lobby, as bus loads of package tour people are dumped. Common sense would suggest that one does not stand in front of the automatic doors, but that's where all gather, leaving the doors... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
