We had an amazing wedding - solemnisation, tea ceremony and banquet - despite COVID restrictions! Our coordinator, Rachel Sing, was always very approachable, prompt in responding to our queries and was accommodating to our special requests. She and her team went beyond their call of duty in allowing us to have a wedding rehearsal after hours. Our banquet team & kitchen chefs team (Leslie, Zhi Yang, Jason and Anthony) were very friendly, efficient and flexible, they maintained good communication with us on the actual day to make sure things went as we wanted it. The food was great even from the food tasting session. Our feedback was taken very seriously into consideration and our meal was even better on the actual day. The decoration provided by the hotel was lovely, even giving us extra real rose petals to help decorate our own wedding cake. The hotel also helped us arrange a tea ceremony that went smoothly and was very enjoyable.…
Food served during SHN could be better, at least come hot and on time. Otherwise, good overall experience. The use of WhatsApp for checking SHN matter is excellent. I got prompt response to my questions.
Our wedding coordinator, Rainy, has been with us throughout the planning of our wedding. The wedding planning process was a unique one, having to take into account the ever changing rules for Covid-19 weddings. Rainy and her team were excellent in ensuring that our guests were well-taken of on the actual day and making sure that everything went on smoothly. Big thanks to Rainy and her team !
We held our wedding dinner on Parkroyal kitchener and we are very satisfied with the service! Our wedding coordinator Rainy Gwee and the sales team was very attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. The food prepared by chef Fatt and the service from the banquet team was fantastic and was often praised by most of our guest. Overall, the experience was great! We are glad that our guest enjoyed it as well!
We had a very pleasant experience hosting our wedding lunch banquet on 26th December 2020 at the Emerald Ballroom in Parkroyal on Kitchener Road. The person-in-charge of the day, Rainy Gwee, together with her sales team Adrian Wong and Rachel Sing, were all very proficient and experienced in coordinating the whole process. The ballroom was also beautifully decorated and lifted up the whole atmosphere. Kudos to the banquet team (Leslie, Zhi Yang, Jason, Anthony and Kumaran) who ran the wedding banquet smoothly and gave us clear instructions. Besides the banquet, the team also made arrangements for our tea ceremony which was held at the Sapphire Room. For our wedding lunch, we had the 7-course menu prepared by Si Chuan Dou Hua restaurant helmed by Chef Fatt and his team. We are appreciative that the team took note of our special requirements and the menu was customised to our request. Our guests gave feedback that the food was very well prepared and they enjoyed the food tremendously. We are also pleased with the holding room provided to us for preparation, and the hotel room we stayed in had special wedding theme add-ons just for the couple. :) Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we are very happy to have worked with this team.
