I stayed here with my wife around the end of July. The room was nice albeit a little small, but it had everything we needed. The hotel is in a great location for touring though Chinatown with lots of shops and street markets close by. The staff were nice and helpful as well. The only problem I had was with... More

The room was small and noisy at times (noise from adjacent rooms due to bad insulation, not from the street). But the room has a street window and the location is good and convenient. The room rate is also competitive. The nearby underground station is also convenient to go to the airport.

Generally I feel positive about my stay at the Inn. What suprised me the most is probably the price. I made a reservation through booking.com planned to stay for 4 nights. The price shown on the website was $4xx but I ended up paying $5xx because of the tax and ...??? Not sure what it was. Maybe it was my... More

Stayed only for 1 night in twin room (two beds joined together). Room was so small but cozy. Bathroom was also small with toilet in odd position. However there was this shower separator/divider; so that the rest of the bathroom does not get wet. Very quiet although our room is on the street side. Very good location, very close to... More

Rooms are smaller than shown in Agoda website. Toilet is small and old. There is barely any walking space in the room. Furnishings are tad bit old and worn out. Towels are clean but looks patchy. Never coming back. They need immediate renovation and change of existing housekeeping items.

I stayed for 4d 3n and overall are okay. I got room with window and twin bed. the room is small but cozy and clean. What was great is its location. So close to MRT chinatown, just about 3 minutes walk. And around local food.

This accommodation was right in Chinatown, just perfect for exploring. The room was tight but then it was only required for sleeping in. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Slight problem with no llifts but as we were only on the first floor and did not have too much luggage it was okay

Keeping in mind that Singapore is an expensive city in which to find mid range accommodation, I was really pleased with this hotel. The location is key, middle of Chinatown, easy walking distance to Business District, Duxton Hill and Neil Road for places to eat and drink. Metro 2 minutes walk. Hotel rooms in Singapore in this price range are... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
