Upon checking into our executive room that comes with the executive lounge club at the club Jen @ 17th floor, we couldn’t check into the club lounge as the kiosk didn’t allow us to, so we went to the reception to get it fix and it was helpful that one of the staff got us to the 17th floor to get it done...

Then after I was trying to process my bills for claims, I noticed that I was charged extra and the hotel support staff said that I had breakfast for two days so the extra charge was for that... When I requested for clarification and a refund, I receive no response again... I will not stay with Jen Tanglin after this experience...

...However, with this hotel, our experience was below par... My 3 year old son had to sleep in the lobby area for almost an hour at night, despite having booked 4 rooms at the hotel...

I had my significant event held here & it was flawless... I'm truly thankful for Afiza Ahmad (Assistant Banquet Manager) and her team for our night... She was ensuring and checking in on us from the beginning and right to the end of our event... Food & Drinks was serve at almost immediately to our room after the event was over as we did not get to eat... The quality was not compromised on the actual day... The bridal suite is really cozy with all the necessary room amenities, I did not manage to get the name of the housekeeper on level 16... Last but not least a huge thank you to my events sales manager, Ms Xin Yi Tay... For her patience and advises given making the whole event so comfortable and flawless... No amount of words can express how thankful we are to describe the satisfaction & feelings from the starts, warm welcome meeting, suggestion & preparation... Sincerely once again thank you to Ms Tay Xin Yi, Ms Afiza Ahmad and team for making it experience memorable...

To my surprise am really astonish and most welcome my Micah (Guy) & Danielle (Lady) whom rendered superb irresistible service that is beyond and superseded expectation, they should be well promoted and keep as an great assets to the hotel for the betterment of the hotel hospitality industry... They welcome us with warm welcome like families members... Tea time is from 12pm onwards to evening... There is a station for eggs and westerns like sausages, baked beans, sautéed mushroom; even well spread of paste ties are served and indian fusion from roti canai, curry was superb serve with spices and others well side spread buffets... Chinese they have sometimes chicken Pao, dumpling and glutinous rice for your pleasure...

...However, with this hotel, our experience was below par. Whilst I totally understand that an early checkin may not be possible, we received our rooms at 10.30 pm at night after being made to repeat all the formalities that we had spent an hour in the morning completing... They conveniently forgot about the heavy deposit amount and only after reminding them twice and producing the receipt was the same sorted...

Zain the restaurant staff has nothing, but maid us feel so welcoming and so attentive to us and specifically to our 2 year old son... He is so kind, helpful and a true outstanding professional... Thank you for making our experience in Singapore so delightful Zain... We arrived late at night, so our first real encounter of people here in Singapore as a tourist was him, so he set a welcoming and friendly experience during our first breakfast at the hotel and set a great mood to a start of our vacation... We are so thankful for this because it carries through our rest of the days before boarding our cruise in the next couple of days...

...On the actual day, we had a room to facilitate our tea ceremony, and our banquet managed by Sean & John went well - the service was commendable, and the dishes plus portions were well received. We upgraded our room to the Deluxe Suite, which was clean and well-maintained, and most importantly spacious enough to accommodate our makeup artist, photographer, family and bridal entourage... The hotel's shared carpark with Tanglin Mall is a bonus as our guests had ample parking lots, the newly opened TEL MRT line also provided great accessibility with the hotel located just right outside of Orchard Boulevard station... On top of that, there is direct access to Tanglin Mall from the hotel, with many dining options and a supermarket... Thank you Hotel Jen Tanglin for taking care of us, the overall experience was wonderful and we look forward to returning for our anniversary staycation!...

An awesome fantabulous stayed at this hotel. We stay at the executive room 1618... They welcome us with warm welcome like families members... Food here was awesome and fantabulous ranging from assorted sushi’s, like snack crackers, prawns, chicken crackers, wine free flow from 6pm- 8pm during cocktails, they even served fruits and all kind of nuts and cookies for your pleasure... Tea time is from 12pm onwards to evening... However, cocktail evening is around 6pm - 8pm... There is a station for eggs and westerns like sausages, baked beans, sautéed mushroom; even well spread of paste ties are served and indian fusion from roti canai, curry was superb serve with spices and others well side spread buffets... Chinese they have sometimes chicken Pao, dumpling and glutinous rice for your pleasure...

...During my stay, I requested for a day’s breakfast to be charged since my room did not come with breakfast and I had to leave the hotel early for a meeting the next day after I checked in... Then after I was trying to process my bills for claims, I noticed that I was charged extra and the hotel support staff said that I had breakfast for two days so the extra charge was for that... But I actually had my breakfast at a cafe nearby the hotel on the day I checked out...

A week before check in I was given the option to upgrade different components of my stay via an email from the hotel. I saw value in the upgrade option to the Club Room and this made my travel experience extremely memorable... Staff were friendly at check in and allowed me to store my luggage as I reached the hotel in the morning before check in time... My room was clean and very comfortable with a fantastic view, the added perk was I could access the Club Room on my level through out the day (Between 12pm-9pm)... There were refreshments served mid afternoon then a more substantial serving of foods during the evening where cocktails were also available... Tea, Coffee and a selection of other non alcoholic drinks were also available at all times along with light snacks... The swimming pool was large and of a good temperature... The breakfast buffet spread was massive with many different food stations available... Fresh juices and hot drinks could also be made... I highly recommend paying the additional amount so that the breakfast is included with your stay...

...A reasonably nice hotel in a good location close to Tanglin Mall and bust transport. About 15-20mins walk to Orchard and Scotts Rds... The room is clean and comfortable at about 25sqm size... Good shower, A/C, wi-fi, pool, gym and king bed however the bathroom is tiny at about 2sqm including the toilet which you almost have to straddle when drying off (see photo)... There is a small fridge but oddly no drinking glasses supplied in the room... We had to grab a couple of plastic cups from the café bar downstairs so we could have a drink in the room... When we were there, the pool restaurant and bar Ah Hoi’s kitchen was only open Friday and Saturday, neither day of which we were there, Rumpoles bar was closed and the lobby café bar was very limited whilst the J65 restaurant was used for all meals and they were all buffet style so not ideal... Luckily there were plenty of options to eat off-site...

...There were no coffee-making facilities provided which in a 4 star hotel like this should be available... One saving grace was the hotel being connected to a wonderful small mall that had a Starbucks coffee and many upmarket shops and restaurants, which made our stay much better...

...The check-in process was smooth and I was issued a relatively high floor room. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean... The toilet was also decently sized and clean...
