Stayed for a few days as part of a conference. Having the conference centre attached makes it convenient, and it's close to Robertson and Clarke Quay for food. However the experience is fairly average. Trouble checking in, poorly cleaned room, room service delivered wrong, charges needing dispute, and expensive but average drinks in the bar. Overall, needs a huge change...

This hotel is very well located - you can walk (30 min) all the way to the Marina. Service is ok. Breakfast is very good although around 7 am it might get very crowded. Room service is efficient and expensive, the quality of food only average.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Copthrone Waterview during our recent stay at Singapore. The accommodation was well equipped and spacious. The staff we incredibly friendly and accommodating - we were given an early checkin on our arrival as we were traveling with a toddler. The hotel is very strategically located with a bus stop right opposite...

Splendid comfortable vacation. Great food. Nathan, one of the chaps in the lobby whose job is to help guests, went the extra mile and gave us much help on several occasions for which we were very grateful. He really is a gem.

Staffs are friendly. The service was also prompt n efficient. Ordered American breakfast n expected to be delivered in 30-45mins but it came to our room in less than 30mins. Called the front desk for late check-out n was attended by the Operation Manager; Ms Sha (if I get the spelling correct). She was professional n even grant us the...

Stayed for 2 weeks on business. Here we go: Room (deluxe) had a great view of the quay. Ample space and nice shower. Decent WIFi throughout the property. Attentive housekeeping. Just a few power outlets as property is a little aged (but enough to get by with my 4 devices). Restaurant was pricey as well (hello - it's Singapore, get...

I like this hotel, its big and I was here for business and it is quite corporate in that its good for running a conference and has a lot of function rooms. Equally I would say it has what a personal traveler would want such as gym, swimming pool, restaurants etc. Service is good and the staff are attentive, restaurants...

We stayed here for a 3 night long weekend city break. I was very grateful that they accommodated my early check in request with no fuss. Check in itself was quick and easy. The lobby and communal areas are all quite grand. We had a standard room with a view of the 'waterfront' which is actually a canal albeit a...

Staying in The Quays

Neighborhood Profile
The Quays
From Marina Bay, a walk along Singapore River will take you through the three Quays of the city, each offering a very different atmosphere. Boat Quay features historical sites and a buzzing riverfront vibe. Clarke Quay caters to the party crowd, while Robertson Quay appeals to the leisurely wanderer. Weekends at Robertson Quay and Martin Road also give a peek into the lives of expats in Singapore, as the riverfront teems with joggers, dog walkers, and those getting their caffeine fix over brunch or enjoying a burger and a beer. No matter what you’re up for, the three Quays have something to keep you happy, day or night.
