It was our anniversary staycation and the staff took the efforts to decorate the room and provided us a complimentary celebratory cake, very nice gesture. Also the staff at the lounge were friendly and attentive to our needs.
I stayed during SHN. Very cozy and comfortable, they make sure to provide fresh towels and linens. The staff are very friendy, accommodating and approachable and you know that they they smile even they are wearing a mask, can easily understand the needs of the quest which is a plus. I just hope that my view during my stay would be better. The food is good but I hope there would be more choices on the menu. But all in all experience is very good.
The hotel is value for money. It has comfortable service. in Terms of Location wise.. excellent location with nearby shopping and eating facilities. Quality room service. Reliable staff to handle your request. Nice view . Good amenities.
I was there with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Wrote remarks in our booking without expecting anything. We were surprised with nice decoration in our room. They even gave us a complementary cake. The location is great. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.
My stay was 14-15Nov2020 (Sat-Sun), meant to be a deserved break for myself and my family. Upon checking in, my 7 years old son used the bath tub, as i was busy with arranging for the additional bed on the phone w reception and my husband was bringing up the luggage from the car. I told my son to wash the tub before jumping in, regretfully, by nightime he complained about itch on his butt and cried throughout the night, i was too tired to check on him during the night. in the morning when he woke up, his whole butt was covered w red bloody marks, and it was extremely itchy. i immediately feedback to the duty manager and brought him to the Mount Elizabeth A&E for treatment. The medical bill amounted to $162.22. i followed up w the duty manager after we came back from hospital and gave her a photocopy of the medical bill and diagnosis, she also took a photo of my son's butt with her handphone, she promised that the hotel will definitely get back to me regarding this issue but the hotel never did. i checked out of the hotel when we are back from hospital. i booked the room under my corporate $50nett subsidy and had submitted my Corporate Card (front and back) photos and also shown the check-in staff my Corporate Card prior to check-in, i expect the hotel to honor the subsidy if the hotel is sincere to offer this subsidy to corporate staffs. However, i was not given the $50 off the bill. as my son was complaining of itch i did not realised it when checking out and paying. When i reached home i realised that the $50 subsidy was not given to me, i contacted the duty manager who insisted the $50 was taken into account although it was not reflected in the bill. i contacted another duty manager who checked and apologised, he promised he would void the transaction and rebilled me taking into account the subsidy as the transaction can still be voided and rebilled within the same working day. However it took me 3 phone calls chasing him till 10pm+ at night for him to take action. overall this is a nightmare for me and my family. till now, nobody got back to me and follow up despite all the promises. myself and my husbands are true blue singaporeans growing up n living in this country hearing wonderful stories of this prestigious hotel since our grandparents generations, i can only say we r extremely disappointed and plain unlucky. i just pray tt the red bloody itchy marks on my son is a one-off nightmare and will not lead to more allergies and complications in future…
