The rooms are small in size, most offer no window and hence are ideal for people who will spend most part of the day outside which is what we did. The rooms are and linen are clean, bed is comfortable but the A/C temperature...

We were on a budget trip to KL and Singapore, and after our itsy bitsy tiny hotel in KL this hotel felt amazingly big :p It was strategically located, very near MRT station (Farrer Park station), just across City Square Mall, next to a food court, and just a short walk from Mustafa Centre and Little India. The receptionists were...

Hotel was ideally located. Train station can be accessed through the mall in front of the hotel...the hotel sits right at the edge of Little India and the better parts of Singapore, so you get the best of both worlds... cheap restos around, easy to find forex, just behind Mustafa so you can shop til you drop (or run out...

I am pleased with this hotel. The area is exactly in the heart of Little Indian, in front of the hotel there is MRT and mall, at the back there is Mustafa Centre. Next to the hotel is a kind of food court. The room itself was newly renoved, it's nice, although I have small room, but almost the same...

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
