Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Brilliant location, brilliant staff and met some cool people. Wifi and air con are great here too. Rooms are basic but for my 1st experience of staying in a hostel I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend it to all travellers

Rooms are dark and one I stayed in has damp which with no windows was unbearable and we moved - 3 of the 4 showers were not fully working and not lockable . Breakfast os very simple toast and tea . Otherwise great location but management needs to invest the money back into upgrading the hostel

The hostel location is pretty good, it's very central and just a few steps away from MRT stations. Adequate room lighting, clean toilets and supportive staff are some other plus. Shall consider coming back if I'll ever be in Singapore again.

I stayed here for 3days 2 nights. I have no comments on the location as is very centralize and the MRT station is just 1 minute walk behind the shop lots. Beside, the staff is very helpful with the informations that I plan to go during my stay. On my 2nd day, I had an appointment which I must leave... More

Beds and dreams is a very cosy place. It is well maintained, clean and very organised. Toilets and baths are shared but all cleaned by staff. They have a pantry where you can eat or drink your own food. It also has a fridge where you can store your foods or drinks. The staff is a Flipino, she is approachable... More

My family and I stayed here for three nights and it has made our stay in Singapore very memorable and fun.The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially to Kel who worked so hard to maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of the place. Beds and Dreams is centrally located in Chinatown and very close to the Chinatown MRT station. It... More

Stay here for 4 nights, good experiences at Singapore. Everything is good, the staffs are friendly & helpful. It takes only 3 minutes to chinatown street food, bus stations, mrt station. They also have complimentary breakfast for who stay here. It's a plus rate in a expensive country. Very recommend!!!

Excellent central location, it was nice and quiet in spite of the local bars. the biggest problem was the location of the toilets which was kind of out of the hostel itself which did not feel secure with a young child in tow. Children loved the bunks and the aircon was great.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
