Stayed at the Transit hotel for 12 hours. ($Aud315) . The room was clean and quiet but dated. The bathroom has quite a high step to get into it. The breakfast was a joke, first we had to go to terminal 2 then we were 'allowed' 60 minutes to have breakfast ...we were out after 10 as we ended up...

Hotel is located on level 3 of terminal 3, room is clean, tidy & average in size. Check in & check out process is smooth however, there might be a waiting time if there is some guests in front of you as at night time there is only one staff. Hotel checkin & check out is 6 hours apart if...

Great hotel right in the terminal. Got off the plane , walked a few paces and there it was, next day the same to catch the following flight. Rented the room for 6 hours, plenty of time to rest and unwind. Room spotless, plenty of amenities, checking in was very fast and efficient as the hotel had all our details....

We had a 32 hour stopover at Changi Airport to break our long flights. The Ambassador at Terminal 3 was very comfortable and had all the basic requirements. The staff very helpful and friendly. Lets face it was worth $400 for 24 hours to be able to sleep, shower and not have to drag our suitcases around. That included breakfast.

As a frequent traveller between Europe and Australia with limited opportunities to get some real sleep on a plane, I like to break up my trip with a stopover: stretch the legs, take a refreshing shower and ideally get some decent sleep. Airport lounges get you only so far; sleeping is typically not on offer. This time I flew via...

A good night's sleep at the Ambassador Transit hotel at terminal 3 while travelling Australia to U.K. Clean room, dark room, quiet room despite planes parked outside your window. A good place to get some zzzzz before the next leg of your journey.

I checked into this hotel due to an eleven hour transit before my next connecting flight. Check in was quick. The rooms are basic but clean. This room had no windows but that was fine as I only wanted to sleep. You are charged by the hour which can be convenient. The bathroom was very basic with almost no amenities....

This must be the only hotel left in the entire country where you are UNABLE to book online. You email them with the dates/time slots you want to stay and hope for an email response. I have booked in the past and got a response. But did not get one when I tried in June/July 2014. The hotel is spartan...

First the one positive - its in Little India near Mustafa centre and lots of good restraunts. There are better hotels in the area, if you must stay in this area choose one. Room was tiny and filthy. No lift, unfriendly staff. Someone tried to come into room in middle of night. They 'forgot' we were there. I have stayed in...

Firstly I wish I had known about Trip Advisor before I booked this hotel as I would have read reviews about it. The room was very small, cobwebs on the ceiling, shower was filthy, the air con just about worked. The hotel was in Little India - Singapore. If you didn't know about this part of Singapore you would be...

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
