The Outpost is everything you would want from a resort and more! From the most beautiful scenery and setting, to the amazing customer service, I cannot fault it! You are met with a very warm check in service and may I add a special shout out to Prince for being so lovely and looking after us throughout our stay. We were then able to choose 5 snacks to take back to our beautiful spacious room. The room comes equipped with a Nespresso machine, waterfall shower and heated toilet seat to name a few! The rooms were exceptionally clean and maintained (huge thank you to Selina for all her hard work and warm personality). The variety of pools at the hotel are beautiful and the gym being open 24/7 is a huge plus for those suffering with jet lag! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel for families and for friends/couples because it caters for everyone!…

Hotel was so clean and nice, it linked with the beaches and train station thru a bridge. rooms are small but good enough for 2 people, 3 pools are shared with village hotel, for all family members, one rooftop pool with a bar. All pools depth was 120cm which I didn't like. Staff were very friendly, smiling, greeting us and offering help always. Special thank for room service staff ( selina ) she is so kind, hard worker rooms are always clean & arranged nicely from her♥︎.

Check-in service is quick and excellent. I like the welcoming drink and snack corner offered to guest. The room is stylish. It is beyond my expectation to have filtered potable water. A wide range of toiletries is provided. The swimming pools on 3rd and 7th floors are great. To conclude, an unforgettable stay.

Very accommodating and hospitable! Even surprised me with a complimentary birthday cake! The room is very nice, really have a restful stay. Kudos to all the staffs for being hospitable! Special thanks to Tasha. One thing we noticed is that our room, the backdoor is stuck and cannot open. But overall, it’s a good experience.

So when I was looking around for a suitable hotel I came across The Outpost and from its website it looked perfect However I didn’t read the small print The Outpost promotes itself as being Adults only which technically it is but in practice it just isn’t. On the website you will see the wonderful photos of large layered deck pool areas, they look stunning, now whilst Outpost Guests have access to these areas they are NOT part of the hotel, as they belong to the adjoining hotel which is a family hotel, now thats fine if thats what you are looking for, but when i book an adults only hotel i dont want screaming kids running around. So the Hotel does have an adults only pool, it is the small one on deck 7 rooftop, yes it is nice enough with a few cabanas that are shaded and a lot of non shaded seating areas, BUT only 3 actual sunloungers in the whole area which is crazy., you also have to be aware that this area is sometimes taken over by events and therefore have restricted us by Hotel Guests. On the Sunday night they host a party where we were required to spend a minimum of 1000 Singapore Dollars ($700 USD )if we wanted a seating area for 4 people. Now I am used to similar beach club requirements but to restrict hotel guests is just unreasonable. When booking The Outpost what you need to realise is that what you are actually booking is the facilities of a group of hotels all built in the same area, the main one being The Village Hotel where the main pools are, and most of the facilities are part of that group, not directly within the hotel. So if you want to dine in the Messhall area ( several restaurants ) then you have to walk a couple of hundred yards to that location. In my mind The Outpost is NOT a 5Star hotel, it is easy to get the impression that it is an afterthought wing of The Village Hotel, entrance is through the back of the Car Park through what could easily be a Glammed Up fire exit, nobody greets you when you arrive, nobody opens car doors for guests, nobody helps you with luggage, the single person in the Lower Lobby doesn’t.t have a clue about facilities. However one you actually get to the 3rd Floor Reception area the staff are good and the styling pleasant, The rooms clean and are as shown on the website, beds are comfortable, but facilities simple, no mini bar you get offered a one time selection of 5 items from reception, no matter how many days you are there. One day or one week you still just get 5 items. The wardrobe is just an open rail, that and various other things are not what I expect from a 5 star hotel. There is no facility to charge drinks to your room as the bar areas are operated by outside operators, the pool bar is not open until around Mid day so you cant get get a morning cooler, and be careful that you are not overcharged as we were.…
