This place was great in terms of the service we received and the overall condition of the hotel. It was situated at the very end of White Beach so was very quiet and peaceful. However this meant a 20 minute walk on the beach into the busy Station 2 area or a 10 minute 100 peso tuk tuk ride. I...

The Strand is located set back from the beach. It's a 5 min drive to d'Mall (100p) and around 7 mins to Pukka Beach (150p). The is a small beach 2 mins walk away which takes you directly down to the white beach central area 20 mins walk away. The area is really quiet (bar the cockerels across the road)....

Service was excellent. Very clean, good size room, firm bed. Perfect location - 2 min from the beach, but very quiet neighbourhood. Close enough to walk to the restaurants of station 1 and D'Mall, but without the noise.

The hotel is just perfect for relaxation. A little bit far from the center but if you like to walk, no problem. The room was big, bed was comfortable. The staff was also attentive and very helpful. Services makes us feel home.

As other reviewers have noted, access to the White beach is a three minute walk through the local neighborhood with a noisy roosters, indigenous housing and shanty market stalls. While I found the surroundings safe during the day, I felt a bit uncomfortable walking through it at night as there are no street lights- making it difficult to locate the...

Our stay at the Strand was amazing. There were not many people staying there because it was low season so it was pretty quiet. The pool is very nice! The room was very nice and spacious and the AC was great. There is a complimentary breakfast every morning for each guest. There are Filipino and Western food options. Both are...

The staff and the guard were very helpful and friendly during our stay and the breakfast was delicious! And the swimming pool was very clean and nice too! This hotel is located at the end of Station 1 (2 minutes walking distance from the White Beach), which was perfect for us, because we wanted to stay away from the crowds...

If this is not your first visit to the island, you should've already learn that Station 2 is way too crowded, station 3 is a bit too far and station 1 is too expensive. Well, that's what I thought before I came across the Strand, the hotel that has a Station 3 price tag, Station 2 convenient and the station...

We stayed at The Strand last Oct 28,2016. I learned about the resort through the tripadvisor and decided to give it a try....The Strand is truly one of the best places to stay when in boracay😊 Aside from the fact that it is located in StAtion 1 for a more relaxed and quiet bora experience, the resort is also a...
