The strand offers 2 things : The proximity to the beautiful beachfront and the beauty and serenity of Boracay outside and away from the noisy party life. The Strand is situated in a hidden place but very close to the beachfront, with 5 mins walk. It is at the end of station one, turning right on that corner will lead... More

In the month of June, I and a group of friends came to the Strand for our HS graduation trip. The place is very well hidden between the narrow zig zag streets of Boracay, and the surrounding area honestly looks a little scary at night. A useful way to navigate to the Strand is to walk along the beach at... More

It was a nice hotel and offered very spacious accomodations. We were about 7 and the rooms were big enough to accomodate us. It was a serene hotel in Boracay, far from the noise of Boracay. Should you wish to enter the party scene, all you had to do is walk a few meters and you are there. The hotel... More

The Strand resort in Boracay Philippines is a hidden gem. First time we went to Boracay in 2011 we stayed on station2 smacked at the centre of the beach. We had the greatest time as everything was accessible within just few steps literally. But this time (2016) we opted for somewhere away from the crowd but at the same time... More

My boyfriend and another couple booked our stay in the 2BR Family Suite last April 27-May 1, 2016 for the Laboracay weekend. The hotel is situated in Station 1, past Discovery Shores, so that's roughly a 20-minute walk from D'Mall. It's pretty close to the beach shore (2 minutes away from the gate), but the usual method of going in... More

Just got back from Boracay today. We were booked at The Strand from April 22-24, 2016. Just love the landscape of this resort. The trees, the pools, the rooms & the friendly staff contributed to our restful stay. Decent, romantic, quiet and very laid back. It was going back to the basics - when you need to hear the crickets... More

Stayed here for 3 days on are trip. Rooms were nice and clean for an older hotel. Staff was a little hard to communicate with as they never spoke that great of English. Other than that the only complaints are the fact it is right beside a cementary and my laundry got mixed up with someone else's.

My experience started with this hotel from the start, where Agooda approved my booking and canceled it on my way to the island, they tried to call me they said .. how while I am overseas!!! Anyway back to the hotel, of course the hotel is far from the center and near a cemetery, the neighborhood is so scary and... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel, so far the hotel is nice and very quiet but beside it is the public cemetery in Boracay which we only knew when we arrived :(... You need to walked 5 minutes before reaching the end of station 1 which is a bit scary during night time. If you like to go... More

we stayed here for two nights. The staff are nice and helpful. the room is large and clean. the breakfast is....hmm, very simple, but tasted ok. However, the location is far far away, in the end of station one. you have to walk very long way to the start of station one. And, if you are only girls travling together,... More
