If you are looking for an affordable place near to the beach, this is one of the place to be. The room was neat and the amenities alright. We were not expecting much from the hotel and we were not disappointed by what we got. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I stayed at Mango Ray with my family, taking three double rooms. Our room was well appointed, very clean, and had freezing cold air-conditioning, which was great in the tropical heat outdoors. The position of the resort was right in the heart of everything. It had its own patch of White Beach, which was manned with a security guard. The... More

It was alright. One morning when I turned the tv on it had no channels they had cut out. The food was excellent. The beds were alright. The fan kept making noises that were really annoying. The wifi was poor. My dad couldn't even get wifi down when we were having breakfast. The rooms that my family stayed in really... More

The location is good, next to D'Mall and is at the beach front. Other than the perfect location, the hotel was really terrible. The room needs some serious renovation. The hotel made us felt like as if we stepped into the 80s(even before we were born!) The air-con was never cooling. Wifi was never available in our room, you have... More

To take my summary upfront: If being beachfront is the only thing that counts and is blinding you from everything else and you do not mind a bathroom which appears to be 20-30 years old, with fungus between the tiles and cracks in the silicone and the ceiling and paying for all that more than 100 dollars a night, then... I have always been a huge fan of Mango Ray, and I don't really care if it does not belong to the high-end cluster of hotels on that side of the paradise island... it is still THE only choice for me. So much so that I got so excited taking my beautiful wife there for our honeymoon. It did not... More

Stayed here with my wife for 4 days. Excellent room for the price. Extremely quiet and relaxing. Good location for daily activities. Hotel restaraunt prices seemed a little on the high side so we ate at other restaurants. The only negative thing I can say about our stay here is that the staff made us feel unwelcome. We greeted all... More

Great location - front and centre - lovely beachfront position with tree shade and close to lively bars and Dmall etc. Even so rooms are quiet due to secluded garden behind beach walk. Beach garden huts are better than adequate, comfortable, roomy and an improvement on nippa huts. Garden beach showers were welcome as room shower was disappointing. Bar and... More
