The service for this place is great, the ladies are very helpful and very nice, the hotel is right next to the ocean, so you can view the sunrise each morning and it's breathtaking. The mosquito is a real problem, and there's not too much except spray bug spray every time you come back into the room (health hazard). They have made to order breakfast for extra charge, and they are all very good. Overall, it's a great place for the price you pay, and the view right outside the rooms are just incredible.
we occupied 4 over 8 of the rooms during our 4 nights stay here. everything is good. great service from the hotel crews. definitely a good choice to stay if you prefer a rather quiet and private stay.
Yes, I cannot not admit that the room was nice and clean, but what bothered me the most was how electricity got cut off numerous times. This hotel does not have a power generator hence when electricity got cut off on the island (happens occasionally), this hotel will be completely wasted. Wifi is non-existence, it was better working on my pathetic prepaid SIM card than relying on the wifi. On one occasion when I finally couldn't stand it anymore, I asked the guy if I could ask for a refund for the remaining 3 nights. He told me 'manager is busy' and if I want a refund I have to call Agoda (Philippines). Asked if I could borrow his hotel phone to call Agoda, he told me it only works for calling mobile number and not to landline number. A bit absurd wasn't it?
The room was very nice, great balcony and bathroom BUT the air-con was suddenly switched off automatically at 12.30am. It was honestly over 40 degrees in our room and we though we would die (oh the humidity!!) and we had no drinking water. No one in reception to help us out. Ended up getting 2 hours of sleep with the balcony doors wide open, welcoming in the ocean breeze - and mosquitos.
I stayed here for five nights. The staff are incredible! Check-in was a breeze. My room had uninterrupted views of the ocean. The suites are far enough away from the noise of White Beach, but close enough on a tricycle that you can be there in minutes. One of the nicest places I've stayed at anywhere in the Philippines.
