...I recently had the pleasure of staying for a few days at the Lagen Island Resort and was paired with Marlon as my tour guide for the duration of my stay. We participated in two separate tours of neighboring islands and highlights of Palawan, and Marlon proved to be an excellent guide throughout the experience... He was attentive to the needs of each person on the tour, made extra efforts to ensure everyone was safe and happy throughout, and best of all, knew exactly the right spots for great photos (and he's a great photographer)!... I highly recommend Marlon for private tours or group tours while staying at the El Nido Resorts properties - you will not be disappointed!...

...Staff were friendly and genuinely personable. I appreciated front desk coming through with alternative connectivity when I had do emergency work... Props to our staff guide, Marlon T, who led us through all the island hopping, and to his exceptional knowledge of the islands... He has a kind and gentle way with kids - my son certainly enjoyed his guidance snorkeling off Miniloc, and while kayaking through the Big Lagoon... Thank you Lagen Island for the pampering, I hope it won't be long before we return...

I would like to commend Regg who’s our tour guide during the hike and island hopping... He’s very friendly and knowledgeable about the area within and outside the resort... Second is Chef Carlos, thank you for accommodating the Eggs Benedict request of my boyfriend and for giving us a sumptuous food during our stay... Third is Mike, for making sure that our dining experience is great and for singing for us in our last day at the resort... Fourth is Eds, who assisted us from our arrival and our departure at the resort... Thank you for going extra mile in finding a place to stay during our cancelled flight and for constantly checking on us until we fly to Manila... We availed their tour 3, bird watching, nature walk and forest hike... Their staff were all accommodating, friendly and most of all takes good care of their guest...

...It was our first time at the resort and the staff made us feel welcome from arrival at the airport to departure. They made baggage handling and vehicle transfers so seamless... Customer service at Lagen is incredible... Gamie the bartender made great drinks and even extended happy hour at times to happy nights!... Rey did an awesome job fixing the special dinner we had at the jetti... He assisted us in kayaking, spelunking, snorkeling, hiking, island tours, Lagen circuit, and beach bumming... El Nido and Lagen are proud caretakers of nature... Staff treated us well and more importantly shared and made possible the celebration of an important night with us...

This was my second visit to Lagen, what made it more special than the first was the staff. A special shout out to Chef Carlos Caraan who made us feel like long lost friends... He would check on us almost every meal time and would ask us for meal suggestions... Dave and Gamie made happy hour happier... Eric, our tour guide made sure we were safe and was very attentive to us...

He was incredibly helpful and catered to whatever we asked for... He even made some awesome recommendations for food and wine during our stay... JM and Edison were our tour operators for the two days and they were very knowledgeable and accommodating during the tours... Additionally kuya Gamie was even so kind to set up a "congratulations" dinner for my fiancee and I after he found out we had gotten engaged during an earlier part of the trip... We stayed at a Water Cottage that had the view of the majestic and awe-inspiring cliffs often seen in photos of Lagen Island. Although it was on and off rainy throughout our stay, we were not in any way disappointed; we literally had the recommended attractions almost exclusively to ourselves (Cathedral, Cadugnon Cave, Snake Island Sandbar, Big Lagoon)... Staff were friendly and genuinely personable... I appreciated front desk coming through with alternative connectivity when I had do emergency work... The place is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. We stay in the beachfront cottage with patio where you can only hear is the splash of water and panoramic view of the cove... Everything is ready for us, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner which is also available in other Island like in Miniloc... John Ray, Mike, Chef Carlos, Gammi, Jake, Mario, Erick, May ,Bel including unknown staff which make our stay a memorable one... The WIFI is not really impressive, but their IT is working on it...

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay. Our water cottage was beautiful and the entire island was great... Staff were very helpful and friendly-- Dave and Gamie were the best!... Our guides went above and beyond to make sure that we were ok and even offered to take our phones to take pictures for us...

Excellent resort, food delicious and varied throughout our stay (one week). Super friendly staff that were really attentive to our kids aged 10, 8, 6... Excursions very nice, even though weather not ideal, great that El Nido Resorts took the opportunity to make most of it, under existing regulations...
