Truly unbelievable experience. Such a beautiful place. All the staff were so kind and helpful. Our housekeeping staff left behind special notes for us, including the words "happy honeymoon" written out with leaves and flower petals on our bed upon arrival. Special shoutout to Anton, who guided us on tours two mornings, and who shared all kinds of fun facts about the people, plants, animals, etc of Palawan, as well as helping us practice our Tagalog! Stayed for a week in march 2023 and had a great stay!! Arrival: You are picked up at the airport by the hotel. It was easy to find the representative and they escorted us to the car which took us to the ferry, here we waited for about 10 min and had some (very good!) ice tea while we waited, they also have some small dishes/snacks. We where then escorted to the boat that took us to the hotel, the trip was comfortable and picturesque! When we arrived the hotel we were greeted with live music, cold towels and coconut water, before we were given information about the hotel and their activities. We were really hungry so we appreciated the opportunity to go trait to lunch. Service: From you reach the airport and until you leave the island the service is great, the staff is super helpful and kind, ready to assist you with anything you need. We went on the trip as a 30-birthday vacation for me, and the hotel surprised me with a bottle of red wine and a delicious birthday cake in our room, greatly appreciated! Tours/activities: A lot of great activities are already included in the price, we went to two of the included tours, plus the hobie cat, both great! We also did the private boat tour (4 hours 15000PHP) which we can highly recommend. You will get to plan the places where you would like to visit with your guide beforehand. We did the secret beach, hidden beach, helicopter island and catlao lagoon. Because you live so close to these places you will get them to yourself (before other arrive) if you go early. We also did snorkeling which is something we love to do when traveling, and it was great that the guide came with us - we felt safer and he could also show us where to go and fish to see. Rooms: We had the beach villa with pool. Super spacious and nicely decorated room. The bed is large and comfortable, the bathroom is huge with a large wardrobe. Outside area is also large and has space for a table with chairs and a daybed, we used this a lot! The pool was okay size and had a sitting area which we also used a lot. Would recommend the pool villa as we used our pool a lot even though the beach was right below. Beach: Villas has sun-beds and an umbrella on the beach. The water is crystal blue and the beach is clean. Some parts are more rocky so having some swimming shoes, especially for smaller children, might be a good idea. Food: Food and drinks were great! When the hotel has fewer guests they do a combination of set menu and buffet for lunch/dinner. I was surprised by the good quality and taste of the food at the buffet as I am not usually that fond of buffet, thus I was also very happy when they offered set menu some days. Breakfast buffet is great, only thing I was missing was orange juice and/or apple juice. Spa: Spa was great! Massage was good, and service was great. The spa room was luxurious and clean. Dinner on the beach: This was a treat! We talked to the chef beforehand and got to decide the menu based on our preferences, he was very accommodating!! amazing food and the setup was super nice and romantic. Everything was lovely and incredible. The place, the room, the service, the staff and the offering. We are vegetarians, and they ensured we always had available healthy options. I accidentally burned my finger with soup and the hotel doctor was right there assisting me. Staff is kind and always helpful. They offer island hopping tours and plenty of activities. We will definitely come back!

My husband and I had an amazing time at the Pangalusian. We enjoyed the tour #2 offered through the property so much the next day we booked a private 4 hour tour and checked off the rest of the must sees while at the Pangalusian. Our tour guides Josar and Renal did a fantastic job and took so many memorable photos of us!! We would highly recommend this resort. We also want to give a shout out to the pool bar attendants Albert and Junix - they did a great job keeping the beers cold 🍺The room attendants Dennis and Mike did a great job keeping our beach villa clean and tidy. The staff here truly met our expectations with their wonderful service! So glad we stayed here!

From the greeting at Lio Airport to the departure via fast boat from Pangulasian, the experience was magical. We chose the pool villa and highly recommend the views from #28 as the porch is angled to greet the sunrise. There is beach access from the house where the beach chairs are mostly in the shade on a hot day. You walk out into the water with your snorkel and goggles and see dozens of fish. Take a Discovery Dive walking into the water and you have a cathedral of coral. Food options were expansive.. if there could be a fault it would be to request a la carte options so we can eat normal quantities and richly veggie in composition.

Our stay at Pangulasian Island Resort was truly amazing! The place was clean and luxurious. The staff were all friendly and attentive and made us feel at home. The food was really good and the chefs would interact with you while dining. Special acknowledgement and thanks to our activity guide, Kuya Renel for taking care of us during the tours, for being patient with us, and taking LOTS of great photos! Pangulasian is one of the resorts in the Philippines that is worth staying at!
