Pros: 1. Air-conditioning unit was great, cooled the room extremely well. Fridge well stocked. 2. The restaurant and bar area looked reasonably nice, hotel directly beside the sea which had great view and very pleasant area to stay in. 3. Double bed and single bed in room, clean sheets. 4. Location is reasonable, it's about a 10 minute walk along...

Sounds like the housekeeping did not keep up to their usual standard. We are always trying hard to keep our rooms clean a tidy. The fact they missed a used condom is certainly disgusting and unacceptable. I am not sure what room you had but it sounds like a budget room. Yes, these rooms are old but they are also...

The staff were all great. Food is amazing. The rooms are okay as far as diver resorts go. There is no benchmark to North American hotels so don't even think about that. This place is a diving paradise and the staff of the resort make it so much more. The ONLY thing that could be improved are the Wi-Fi Internet...

Thank you for your review and we do appreciate and take note of your comments. Yes, WiFi, this is a very difficult subject. We here at El Galleon spend US$1,360 a month for just 10mbps, we can't get more even if we wanted to pay more. As a small resort this is a big expense and after paying this I...

We had a group dive trip here and had a fantastic trip. Staff are fantastic and the diving was great. Food is fantastic. One of the only places that has their own boat pier. I would definitely stay again

Nice tables on the terrace overlooking the sea. £6 for all you can eat breakfast. Great service with a smile. A good location. It felt spacious and was nice watching the morning divers and snorkellers boarding their various boats. Fidelscastrol.

My second dive-trip to El Galleon in December 2016 was as good as my first in 2006: Great staff, competent dive-instructors, great people, nice rooms – and food. And The Point bar  The dives are just fantastic. The diving-staff makes the whole dive-experience smooth. For an easy arrival I recommend Airjuan – seaplane from Manila Bay.

I inquired for the seaview room via their mobile number on their website. The response was very quick. On check-in on the same day I asked for a discount as I wanted them to have the advantage of me not booking via the Online Travelagent like Agoda. They gave me 5% discount which I was happy with including breakfast. The...

In july, we went for the second time to this resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The standrooms at the poolside are spacious and clean. They have airco, which is necessary at this time of the year. The open kitchen is located next to the open air restaurant. The french chef works with fresh ingredients, his staff knows...

I have stayed in several placed in Puerto Galera and this hotel suits me best. It is away from all the noise and has great amenities. The food is also very good. This was my first time in the Philippines, and I really enjoyed the El Galleon. The staff were unfailingly polite & helpful, the food was very good, the prices were fair, and the diving was great. The resort is right on the shore, has its own pier & dive facility (operated by the very professional Asia Divers), and the whole...
