A great location of hotel. Wonderful, helpful staff who were quick with any requests that we had (our room fridge didn’t work, so they quickly swapped it). The pool was great and breakfast fine. Like many Indonesian hotels, unless you arrive when breakfast begins (at 7am), the hot offerings become room temp. Only negative about the room was a little dark (although we were in a corner room)- another main light would help). And the bathroom (the tiles) were discolored/needed modernizing. Would happily recommend.
The bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is delicious even though the menu is limited. The swimming pool is quite pleasant although not large. Don't choose a pool side room if you want to rest. There is no elevator, so don't bring too much luggage.
Super nice hotel, good swimming pool for cooling down after a day Yogya. Breakfast was oke but for the experience we also had breakfast in Yogya. You can hear the mosque now and then but to be honest, we did not heared it in the room. But if you have problems with sleeping it might be annoying. The street behind the hotel has some nice restaurants on walking distance. We had a good 3 night stay here with trips trough Yogya and to Prambanan. Be aware that some things are closed on monday! We could not visit Vredenburg for example.
A very pleasant option in the Prawirotamen area. It's not perfect- the only natural light is from the glazed entrance door screen, which opens directly onto the balcony walkway. So unless you're an exhibitionist you'll have the curtains drawn and lights on the whole time you're in the room. The pool is nicely designed but wasn't very chlorinated and was very cloudy during our stay, though it was being cleaned when we left. And there was no safety deposit box, which we'd come to expect from similarly priced hotels elsewhere. But the restaurant / bar was very good, in the evening and for breakfast, and the staff very respectful and helpful. It's nicely located in an area which contains a good variety of accommodation, eateries and bars, if a decent rickshaw ride from the centre. An interesting and unusual place to stay, in plenty of good company at a time when the tourism industry was still profoundly recovering from Covid.…
This is special place. Elegantly decorated, airy, and focused on a secluded courtyard containing a small, beautifully-tiled pool, our room (one of their better ones, I think) was comfortable, spacious, and attractively-furnished. All done with real style; an air of generosity; and excellent, helpful staff. Everything worked. Some of the rooms, especially the ones adjoining the entrance/lounge/café area and perhaps those on the ground floor by the pool, might feel less private than did our corner, first-floor (second-floor in North American) room. And I’d have preferred it if people weren’t smoking in the public areas. But it was a great place for a restful retreat.
The hotel is brilliantly located and really nicely done out within. Breakfast was great and the reception staff were on hand to help with booking tours and taxis which was helpful. Only slight thing knocking it down was wifi wasn’t amazing in the room and the shower area was quite small next to the toilet which meant the shower curtain kept sticking to you. Also there is a light just outside the room which made it quite bright at night! Overall though, would recommend as a cost effective place to stay which still has a luxurious feel
The photos of the exteriors are true but not those of the rooms. It's cute, you could imagine yourself in a hacienda with its interior courtyards. We had a deluxe double room. It looks very pretty in the photos. In reality very little space, not very clean bedding, small pillow, no window in the bedroom, only the front door... so no privacy because it is the access to the bedrooms (on the corridor around the patio). No window or ventilation in the bathroom. Lots of humidity. A small gray towel. Cleanliness.. see photos. You are woken up happily by the sound of doors slamming. The highlight was the security man who refused us an umbrella (very heavy storm) against a deposit of 50,000 Idr. But reception did not 😂. it's a one-night stopover hotel. No more.
This hotel was great. Combined with modern colonial and contemporary design. The staffs are very friendly, the room itself are clean and good. They also have instagramable pool. Going to pool in the morning won’t let you down. I can’t wait to get to this hotel again. Cheers!
Adhisthana offer you an elegant jogja vibes with very affordable price.. the room is clean but small.. love the ambiance, the minus is they don't have elevator, so if you traveling all girl and bring many stuff please asked to stay at first/ground or second floor..., our room is on the third floor so it hard when u order delivery food and bring back to room...
For those backpackers around the world. This must be the perfect and best palce for you to stay. With affordable price you can have a boutique hotel and breakfast. The location is very strategic, close to many local restaurants, near to keraton (palace) jogja, and malioboro street.
