The house is located on less busy area but not far from the main road, making my experience staying here pleasant and convenient. Eateries are within walking distance and cheap. Mbak Yani was attentive and quick to respond to our needs. The place is well-maintained with plenty of oldies accessories make it instagramable. Room is clean. I like the blanket the most. Hot & cold shower is also available. Overall I enjoyed my stay with friends and would recommend this place!

It is a bit out of the city core, which is good, because food around here is almost half price, compared to the tourist areas. You can still walk to the centre in half an hour and the bus is right outside!

It was lovely stay, this home super clean, friendly staff and they have so many antique stuff . We meet other traveler, and sharing about traveling it was so much fun. They provide dormitory room, private room, rent scooter, sharing bathroom with hot water, breakfast and towel. Near by Prawirotaman Street, Taman Sari Water Castle, Malioboro Street, Keraton Yogyakarta and Alun Alun Yogyakarta. I was stay in private room, was good , room clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for 3 nights, the place located in the middle of local residents' houses in small alley. Really good and quiet location between Prawirotaman and Alun-alun kidul, easy to walk to tourist destinations in city center. Local vintage style house with rustic decor and local ambience, the staff are friendly and really helpful, they have dog named Bonzo, all rooms are shared bathroom but you can choose private or dorm room, comfy and clean room with standard equiptment (only bed, lamp, mirror and desk) even with no AC. Clean bathroom and toilet with natural design and have hot shower. Breakfast was okay with traditional snacks but need improvement by reducing plastic wrapped for food, Coffee and Tea for free all the time (self service or you can ask the staff) and refill mineral water.

Stayed here with 4 other friends for 4 nights whilst visiting Jogja. Hostel is cute with rustic decor, huge shared bathrooms, comfy beds and clean rooms. We slept in the dorm for one night which is fine and then took a private room for the remaining 3 - for only 80p more each it was worth it! The staff are friendly and helpful. We liked that they aren't pushy and don't constantly recommend tours like other places we have stayed. Only downside is the breakfast - they seem to buy little packets of things from a local vendor and the food is not great. Also I hate that it is all individually wrapped in plastic!! Other areas of the hostel seem eco friendly, they have a water filter you can use for free and a lot of the furniture looks up-cycled, they really need to rethink their breakfast!!!!!!
