This was my first time back in Jakarta post pandemic. The Ritz is well located in the Mega Kuningan Circle, but somehow the design of the hotel (think Greek marble) and the security measures made it feel a little remote and away from the action. I am a Titanium Elite member and was upgraded to the massive Mayfair Suite, which was much appreciated. Some staff members deserve special mention, especially Olivia who was fantastic and attentive over breakfast. She arranged a special soto ayam for breakfast one day even though it was not on the menu that day. Two main negatives for me: - the hotel is quite old now, with old furnishings and the like. It is all clean though. The big shortcoming is the old technology. As I mentioned as part of my feedback one day when asked (and credit to the hotel for asking), new smart TVs would be a relatively inexpensive way to upgrade the hotel; - sometimes the kitchen/waiting staff would miss requests made so I would have to ask again. I was surprised to learn also that their main restaurant serving coffee did not open until 11am. I had to pop over to the (wonderful) Loewy across the road to meet some business colleagues. All in all, a pleasant stay but not quite a five star one. …
We stayed here for two days for vacation in jakarta . Overall , we are so happy to stay in this hotel . Very star strategic location at the central . Nice hotel , friendly staf ,clean accomodation and beatifull view .
Good service, nice ambience. Thank you for the kindness making my Papa & aunty feel convinient while staying in here. All departments in any area we experienced (from the lobby, front office, bellboys, housekeeping, Guess Recognition team, Asia Restaurants staffs & chefs, sport facilities’ staff): they all did a superb service, especially they do really care for elderly people. I am really grateful for those kindness experience, it was beyond on my expectation. Thank you ❤️
good service, all the stuff are so kind and humble. It’s nice to talk with them and got the recommendation from the stuff and the chef directly especially for Mba Ratu and Mba Adria All the food is also very good either, it’s all delicious and fresh. 100 for the service and the food
I am a regular guest, who travels for work and stays at this hotel always. The hotel never fails to deliver. Spacious rooms, great service, great food. I have access to the club lounge and the team there are always fantastic and really do go the extra mile.
Highly spacious rooms, and great service. I was particularly impressed by the reception on arrival i received from a particular staff (Mia). i travel quite a bit for business and she was a great help and made my stay ever more comfortable. The rooms are spacious especially the renovated rooms. Will be back again.
This definitely does not seem like a Ritz property. And the pictures on the website is so misleading. The rooms are dated with upholstery which are dull, faded, greying and stained. The rooms are big but that’s about the only positive thing I can say about the rooms. The towels are bath mats are rough, threadbare and greying as well. This is very unlike the lobby and restaurants which seem to have seen an overhaul and look a lot more modern and chic. The corridors are musty and the carpet seemed y to o have been changed last in the 90s. Toiletries are also in these nondescript tubes which are of the cheapest quality. Does not justify the room charges for sure
Our one night stay was wonderful even since before we arrive. Guest relation staff contacted us through mail to make sure we’re gonna have all we need at the hotel. It was such a warm greeting and service during check-in time. We also requested some arrangement for our daughter birthday since the staycation was dedicated for her. Miss Mia from guest relation and her team (Muhtar, Melany, Vanco, Junne, Anna, Adinda), really i cant thank them enough for the thoughtful and amazing arrangements! Our daughter was so impressed with the e-card with her photo on it, her favorite character (Minnie), and evenmore her favorite song played repeatedly♥️ We’re really touched by the hospitality and feel so grateful to choose Ritz Carlton MK for our staycation.
Enjoyed staycation in Ritz Carlton Jakarta Mega Kuningan. I was worried about club room has no lounge access due to Covid 19, however the club lounge was opened and they provide me wonderful services. If you will stay there, I highly recommend you to book club room (guaranteed high floor and lounge access). Hope you love it. I would like to say thank you for EAM Ms. Silvana and club team. Look forward to coming back to your hotel in the future!
Best run hotel in SE Asia b GM ARUN and his number 2 Silvana Ng, who seems to be everywhere. The food under executive chef Rudy deserved a Michelin star or two and he loves what he does you taste the passion I would be remiss if I did not mention the excellent executive floor staff led by the amazing Hannah and Her terrific staff.l would seriously recommend this hotel above any other in Jakarta.
