The hotel is in a great location, very convenient walking distance to various bars, cafes and restaurants. The staff were magnificent. They couldn't do enough for me, whenever I asked. I was on a business trip and had to work from my room most days, with connection to wifi. As soon as I reported to the staff that my room wifi was too weak, they immediately moved me to another room with very strong wifi signal. They were also very kind enough to print and scan documents I required on several occasions. They have great facilities, gym, pool and restaurant. And the 24 hour room service was extremely convenient and I used it regularly. I will definitely stay at GrandKemang again on my next trip to Jakarta.

The location is very startegic, there’s lots of places to eat nearby. The room is spacious and the staffs are very very nice and friendly, especially Ms. Amira and Mr. Yatno. Dirty Disgusting Sweat Stained Smelly Pillows, Dirty Bed Linens, and rooms that havent been serviced in years. I Have been staying at the hotel for 15 yrs, and watched the steady decline of this hotel. Housekeeping seem oblivious to the quality of the rooms, and seriously need to pay way more attention to detail. I had just spent 20 hours on a flight in from UK bringing wmy 70+ year old parents for their first holiday since before covid. Not 9nly did we have to request to move room but also request to pay to upgrade as a solution to the problem. Even with an upgrade once again had to change the sweat stained pillows and sheets bed. The General Manager totaly was totally unprofessional, as my parents were upset about the situation, I asked to meet him 3 times to show the issues, not once did he come to meet, alternatively decides to totally ignore my meet request. I am in hotel management myself, and really feel the General Manager needs replacing or this once iconic hotel will just deteriorate further. I would also suggest the Head of Housekeeping either retrain or also be replaced for someone who has higher standards or cleanliness and who actually cares about guest satisfaction. Very very sad situation!!

We were very impressed with the hotel rooms which had a very 'homey' and spacious design. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were also very adequate, making us feel like we were living at home. The hotel is in the Kemang area which is a bit congested but there are lots of choices for places to eat. At the start of checking in there was a problem with the room AC not being cold, but after informing the receptionist, he was immediately replaced with a new room on the 2nd floor where the AC was cold. I met Ms. Suci in the elevator and asked again if there were any problems in her new room, but I answered there weren't any. Overall, the stay was comfortable, there were no problems because the reception was quick to respond. Maybe next time I will come back to stay in Kemang.

Superb location in Kemang. Have nearby supermarket, restaurants and easy access to South Jakarta and SCBD.
Nasi Goreng Kemang here is really good.
Rooms cleaned by housekeeping is fantastic.
Security around the hotel is always there to greet and make you feel safe. They go out of thier way to assist me always.

It was a great location to travel around Jakarta. It is located on the Kemang side of South Jakarta. It was nice to be able to walk to the nearby Kemang Lipo Mall in 10 minutes, and to other restaurants in about 5 minutes. It was also conveniently located in a good location for going to other large shopping malls. I was able to use the facilities comfortably with good service. The quality of service was good and friendly so that all staff members could have a comfortable stay. (gym, swimming pool, etc.)
