Good, cheap and clean hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. No luxury, but perfect for backpackers. Located in central Jakarta near Pesar Seven Station (15 minutes with Tuktuk) and Gambir Station (10 minutes with Tuktuk). Stayed for one night and had to get up too early for breakfast, but it would have been included. All together: Absolutely worth the... More

I was a little bit put off by the other reviews, that's why I wanted to write this as i Ended up going ahead with the booking, I'm happy I did. The private dorms are fantastic value for money. They're not bunk beds or shared room, you literally get your own private room with a key. Only the toilets and... More

Everybody keeps saying is a good budget hotel but is quite overpriced for what it is. The room is very basic, the wall are dirty, no water pressure, the aircon barely works. I spent 2 horrible nights, both nights I won't up with several mosquito bites all over my body. I don't recommend this hotel

Tator Hotel was a decent cheap stay in Jalan Jaksa- I stayed in a single-bed dorm (actually a private cubicle/room with single bed and fan). If you get hot easily, go for a room with air-con if available, as the fan rooms have quite small ineffective fans. Wi-fi signal was strong in the room, however internet service seemed to be... Set in a quiet part of Jaksa street, with a nice garden for drinks and bites, this place hosts guests since the early 90's. You get what you book and pay for: clean room, free wifi, warm water, airconditioning, colour TV, breakfast choice of local both western

We did not get an opportunity to stay at the hotel as it was fully booked. But they serve good coffee and omelette. Sandwiches and fries were also well made. The tiny samosa were quite interesting though not a fan of them. Most of the times we had breakfast here. They have Wi-Fi so you can get some online work... More

Very basic hotel, very loud all hours throughout the night due to the windows not closing in the bathroom as theres a mosque opposite. It had a very very strange smell. Breakfast included. On the actually road itself there are a few bars but considering irs a backpacker street so so quiet. About a 10minute walk from the shopping mall,... More

I had stayed in both the single room and the dorm. The first night i went was fully booked for dorm room so i had to stay a night in the single room. The single/standard room they had was quite terrible, the toilet and the whole room stank ! However, for the second night i manage to get a dorm... More
