Great hotel in the centre of Lhasa. Traditionally built and run Tibetan hotel. Fantastic Tibetan decor in this family run hotel. A fair selection for breakfast with the option of eggs anyway you want. Walking distance from all the major sites and a great view from the roof.

Hotel is typical of the colourful Tibet. Loved it and the service was excellent. Owners where very kind and breakfast was good. Loved hanging out on the roof top to see the best city views as well as the Potala Palace. Close to the Jokhang Temple and the shopping squares and district. Also very close to many restaurants. Owner can...

This is a great centrally located hotel with a great authentic Tibetan feel. The rooms are nice, clean, and user-friendly. The hotel has a restaurant upstairs where you get a great view of the city. Easy walk to lots of great locations.

This is a traditional Tibetan hotel so don't expect a lot of modern Western conveniences. It was renovated in the early 2000's and could use an update. the lighting in the room was very dim and wasn't helped by the only ceiling light which didn't work. A request for a replacement bulb didn't produce any results. That said, the location...

This hotel is very traditional, we stayed on two occasions in our stay in Lhasa, the first room we had was a little worn with a few faults there was a smashed floor tile in the bathroom, shower was a little weak.. BUT... the style of the hotel is fantastic very traditional Tibetan, we loved it it really set the...

Loved this place. Stayed for three nights as part of a tour so not sure of value for money. Rooms and whole hotel are intricately decorated and feel very traditional. Staff are super friendly and helpful, and really looked after my friend when he was unwell. Breakfast was great with eggs and omelette cooked to order. We even had a...

Apart from convenient location, hot shower, elevator available and great view of Potala palace at roof-top restaurant, I would like to talk more about the service. All staff are nice especially the male Nepali staff at front desk who is particularly considerate and friendly. We were 3 gals staying here for 4 nights in April. Though already in springtime, it...

this hotel is traditional tibetan - i.e. it isn't a western, contemporary hotel so if that is your preference this hotel definitely isn't for you the staff are exceptionally friendly and can't do enough for you - although this is a very family feel, it does mean that the bar often closes early. when its open however the bar (on...

I paid 320 yuan for a basic room in October 2015. The entire hotel is done up in traditional Tibetan style. The room was clean, the bed clean/comfortable, and the water always hot. They provided a heater for the room too. My room (as was the entire hotel) was pretty dark, even with the lights on, but I didn't mind....

I've nothing much to add that hasn't been already said before. Staff fantastic including young Nepali guy (sorry forgotten name) who went out of his way to help with everything. The breakfasts were lovely, pancakes and honey mmmmmm! Yes bathrooms could do with updating and lighting very dim. I used to go out about 6.00pm and visit the Muslim quarter...
