We were on second floor rm #8210 facing the Beijing rd. We opted not to take the third bed, husband and I shared a double bed and my 16 yr old the other, these rooms are larger than the ones facing the courtyard. Bathroom water pressure and hot water was both good! Breakfast at 5th floor has a great view... More

So the first 3 nights I was in room 6301, which I thought, wow much better than I expected. It was spacious with a king bed (though hard), clean linens, warm comforter, clean bathroom, plenty of outlets for charging. Negatives: smoke smell, no AC. And with windows open because no AC, it's very loud: 630am birds, annoying kids running round... More

I had several days in two rooms of the Yak Hotel. It was so centrally located to the Palace, temples, shops and supermarket but very quiet. It was a comfort to come back to the ambiance of my room and bath facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant next door served great buffet breakfasts with my booking and they had... The hotel is a little bit old. Rooms are ok and clean. Unfortunately just a few guys of the staff are speaking English. Breakfast includes tea, coffee, fried eggs, toast and some Chinese dishes. It's quite close to the Old Town.

The location is very good, lots of shopping & eating places once you step out of the hotel. Clean & comfortable place to stay with simple buffet breakfast. Nice staffs but understand little English only. Everything was good except the toliet, It seem to have a slight smell coming up from the drainage pipe.

Yak hotel, and adjoining restaurant provided a quiet sanctuary in the middle of Lhasa. Large, clean rooms with great bathroom facilities. Attentive, friendly staff and a great restaurant/bar with large covered terrace overlooking the street.

Extremely disappointing .Location good for visiting old Lhasa.Room dark ,very hard beds ,little loo paper unfriendly and unhelpful staff.Couldnt even wash mugs or remove previous guests dried raisins.Breakfast on roof terrace up 4 flights of badly lit terrace.Greasy egg,no butter, powdered coffee and poor service.I wouldn't reccomend this hotel to anyone.Checked out early after final straw of door key not working.

The hotel is right on the main drag in Lhasa but the rooms are set back from the road in a building behind. Rooms were clean and basic with a good modern bathroom. Walls were very thin so plenty of noise from adjacent rooms. As it was still Chinese New Year a lot of restaurants (especially the recommended one next... More

This hotel is in the middle of Lhasa and very well placed for the Jokang temple and the Barkhor. The rooms are comfortable and are decorated in traditional style, but rather dark. The accommodation is set back from the front of the hotel and consequently is less affected by traffic noise. Wifi worked ok in the lobby, but didn't reach... More

The tour company put me in this hotel. Kind of ok place to stay. Relatively clean but rooms are very dark, bathrooms are ok. Location is definitely a plus as it is near to Jokhang and there is also a big supermarket nearby.
