It was really hard to imagine there could be such a beautiful resort in Lhasa. The scenery there was even better than many coastal cities. In the center of the resort was a lake, circled by the resort buildings, e.g., main building, swimming pool, restaurants and villas. However, I would appreciated my stay more if the signage across the buildings... More

One of the best hotels ever!! Rooms are outstanding, service is exceptional and use the spa services to help you cope with being in extreme high altitude. Especially try the foot massage or any of the body massage treatments. One of the best experiences ever!

This is our first time to Tibet and so we want a number one hotel. My friend got a room next to street, too noisy and therefore he insisted for room change. Ultimately he succeeded by 2am, great room indeed without paying for extra, that's good. The staff are not trained up for 5-star international hotel service but the service... More

I don't usually write reviews before the end of my staying, but I have been so impressed by the excellent services provided by Stanley and Jimmy that I felt obliged to give them a huge shoutout NOW! Upon our check-in (we actually checked in twice in 3 days) my mom and I were greeted warmly by Stanley, who accompanied us... More

This place is amazing. The property was amazing and the staff was so great. Our room was huge with 5 star amenities. Heated tile floors, great bath products, robes were soft, room service was great. The staff was so helpful with everything. The restaurant was super tasty and the chef is very skilled!

This hotel was doubtlessly built to be a St Regis: Rooms are spacious, lobby is impressive, big spa and swimming pool and that is it. Service, maintainance and housekeeping are terrible. We thought this would be the highlight of our trip to Mongolia and China, but was the worst hotel we have stayed in whole Asia. The day of arrival... More

Dear PAMTF, Warmly greetings from roof of the world! It was our pleasure having you visit us at the St. Regis Lhasa Resort and we hope you will allow us to extend our hospitality to you again soon. I was most disturbed to learn of your disappointed experiences of SPA, turndown service, dinning at our hotel. Through investigation we found... More

The St Regis may be located in the heart of Lhasa but its clear that the heart of its owner has a westward beat. Rooms are immaculate, even though there's a floor elevation on the way to the bath and loo. It may have made more sense for the bath and loo area vto be lower than the living space,so that... More

Everything about this hotel is gorgeous---the lobby entrance, the grounds, the spacious and clean rooms, the views of Potala Palace. There are many restaurants and bars to eat and spend time in, offering indoor and outdoor seating. They also have an onsite medical clinic in case you are having difficulty adjusting to the altitude. The staff are kind and attentive.... More
