Decent hotel flight in the heart of Nanjing, close to the Metro and the Presidential Palace. Metro goes direct to Nanjing South Train statiin, can also change to airport from here. Also 1912 bar street is just around the corner. The rooms were comfy enough, I slept 2 good nights with no noise, even though I had a main road...

The location is the only reason that I choose this hotel. Its in the center of the city and is close to the MTR station which could lead you to most of the tourist attractions. The hotel is very historical and could remind you of the old days. It has everything you need, but don't expect too much. Facilities/service/food are...

Those reviews pointing out that it's an old place, possibly in need of a refresh, are completely right. But so are the great pyramids. The place reverberates history, there are pictures of statesman who habituated the hotel, displayed throughout the hallowed halls, you may find yourself walking past heavily decorated PLA officers. The cuisine here is outstanding, I've feasted twice...

Historical hotel and very classic inside out. Didn't know it would be so noisy. The room is facing the Main Street and maybe because of we were staying at 1st floor, it was really noisy. Well, they told us it's hard to get a room before Chinese New Year.

Stayed here 3 nights on trip to Nanjing. Room size is decent. The decor looks old and faded. Hotel looks historic from the exterior but inside it is very dull, uninspiring, and room even feels a little damp. Doesn't feel like it's been remodeled. Wifi does not work too well in my room, either. However, price is very low -...

My room is some small, I think because price very low. However very clean. Convenience walking to Nanjing downtown. And I love the breakfast! Especially love the steamed dumpling! I will come back for sure.

This was our second hotel on our 4 hotel trip to China. We were upgraded to a superior suite which was fantastic, the best on our trip and made our holiday even more special. Afternoon tea was included with the upgrade. If you are visiting Nanjing I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed 1 night and loved the room. Maid brought in green tea and soda 5 minutes after our arrival. Mall across street is high end but a great grocery store in basement has lots of hot food options and good western food choices. Problem is off-gassing of materials used in recent remodel. Slept with window open and it helped but...
