That's a very good place to relax and enjoy hot spring in the room. The room are big and easily accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. Wifi very slow. Breakfast doesn't have too many choices but good enough both Asian and Western. Many activities for kids ( horse riding, cooking class, bicycles, basketball) There is a room for drawing. A... More

There are definitely some positives here, but the negatives outweigh them, especially at the price point. Pros: beautiful, secluded setting; lots of kid activities (fishing! cotton candy making! trampoline! goats!); large, clean rooms; excellent service by the train station pick up van--order in advance. Cons: in general, the attention to detail that should be expected at this type of establishment... More

First of all i would like to let travelers know that this hotel is on the outskirts of Nanjing. It is really far away and if your going to take a cab from the Train Station then make sure you have all the directions written in Chinese for your cabbie cause most of them will not know where it is.... If you're into the city life, this place is most definitely not for you! Tangshan is one of the most remote districts of Nanjing, it's also one of the least developed so public transport links are not particularly well-developed. It is more than likely, however, that you chose this property and this location in order to get some peace and... More

I'd highly recommend this Thai style hotel, especially if, like me, you've spent any length of time in China's gritty, overcrowded megacities! Trees and birds surrounded this resort. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted enthusiastically by friendly hotel staff, who immediately answered my questions, helped with luggage, and booked a spa treatment for me. There was a... We stayed at Regalia from 4th April to 6th April, during the Chinese vacation for tomb sweeping day. We were expecting extreme crowd as how it is usually during vacations, however this place was far from being crowded. It was a treat for sore eyes. Distant from the urban jungles, among mountains, a perfect view to appreciate and relax while... More

We are currently living in Nanjing (expats) and needed to escape the city for a weekend so we booked Regalia. We caught a cab from central Nanjing that costs us just under 100RMB one way. We arrived on a Friday night and was greeted by Jacky who was very friendly and spoke English. He gave us a tour of the... More

Stayed here in a ground floor suite for my family of 3. The hotel is very children friendly with lamb-feeding, bicycles, and swimming (not our season). The hot spring is relaxing in our room. The restaurant was decent and very reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly throughout the stay (exceeded my expectations). We would come back again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Regalia Resort & Spa (Tangshan, Nanjing) is located on the outskirts of Nanjing City---Tangshan town, which is listed as the first of the four officially recognized Hot Spring towns in China. One of the emperors in Southern Dynasties called it “holy hot spring” and Chiang Kai-shek, a famous Chinese military and political leader of Kuomingtang, even took Tangshan as one of his favorite holiday resorts. Regalia Resort & Spa (Tangshan, Nanjing) is designed and decorated with Southeast Asian style. It is situated on a private mountain valley that is totally secluded to achieve maximum privacy. The hotel is close to Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, 30 minutes drive from Nanjing city and 2 hours drive from Shanghai City. Better way here from Shanghai is to take the high speed train to Nanjing Station first, and then take the shuttle bus. ... more   less
