I say that this hotel is horrible hotel. The hotel does not have proper reception and no cleanliness at all. We cant even call it as a hotel because it has only 9 rooms in it and does not have a place to move around. The hotel people's things are kept under the bed. The restrooms even does not have a lock. I say that no one should stay here.

Not recommended guys. One cause even though the location is great, close to everything as in MTR, the harbor, space museum and mall opposite side, etc. but once you find Reliance Inn, you will enter a huge building (15 or so floors) which is filled with different hostels. Its shady and sketchy, i guarantee you. Ground floor is filled with cheap electronic stores, tons of people (different races) most of them high on drugs trying to help you find your hostel. Its disgusting and annoying how they force your neck. The building is dirty gross and smelly. Guys, you have tons of other accommodations that either has the same price or cheaper and way way cleaner + better.

Budget hostels do not need to have lack of service; but unfortunately this was the case for us. There was no one to talk to upon our arrival, we had to wait for nearly 2 two hours until finally a staff member showed up.

I know for the cheap price I must not expect a pleasant stay but I discovered a better hostel in Mongkok with the same price so I give this hostel a thumbs down. Yes the location of Reliance Inn (Kowloon) is great because the location is a shopping haven, it's just walking distance to the Victoria Harbour, and you'll just cross the street for the bus stop going to the airport. But the room is smelly, bed sheet has stains, toilet is really small, building is quite old, wi-fi is erratic, elevator is always crowded, and staff is always missing in action. I can never recommend this hostel when you're in Hong Kong.
