This is a very basic hotel, as are the nearby "sister" affiliated hotels Rambler Garden & Winland 800. Things to note: whilst you are given 2 bath towels per room, there are no other towels provided, (no wash cloths, no hand towels). There are zero amenities provided, (no shampoo, etc). There is a liquid soap dispenser in the shower.
Pluses: comfy beds, good air conditioning, interesting views of HK port.
Minus: "Asia" clean...do not expect everything to be pristine.
Do note that these 3 hotels primarily cater to mainland Chinese tour groups. This may impact your stay, as 30-40 people with luggage in tow attempt to board elevators, use common areas, and eat at nearby restaurants.
The properties have an underground shopping area which houses a grocery store, convenience store, 7-11, and 2 restaurants. There is a mini bus service (hk$4/pp), that connects the properties to a large shopping centre & MTR station, as well as the airport rail system.
This hotel would be an inexpensive yet nearby alternative to HK Disneyland stays.
Important to note: the big, beautiful swimming pool that is shown in all of the hotel's advertising is NOT available for use unless you pay hk$100/day, pp. This also applies to the aforementioned "sister" hotels.
I have stayed at these properties 3 times.

Thanks for your stay with us and taking the time to review our hotel. Please rest assured that we will continue to optimize our facilities, cleanliness and service. We do look forward to welcome you to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool (subject to seasonal opening with entrance fee at HK$40.00 per person). Furthermore, we would like to clarify that only "Rambler Garden Hotel" is our sister hotel, while Winland 800 Hotel is not associated with us. Look forward to serving you better in the near future.

Stayed twice about one year apart at this property and differences were night and day. The hotel finally offers Wifi in the guest rooms and cleanliness seemed to have improved. My room featured high ceilings, a large window with good views of the container terminal, minifridge, and kettle with tea bags, though I didn't care for their tea. Contrasting my previous stay, the room now had a proper desk which made working much easier despite the compact size of the room. Only toiletries provided is shampoo from wall-dispenser in the shower. The bed is comfortable and overall the room was quiet. I don't know why, but this hotel is always very busy and there will be many people waiting for the lift and you'll likely need to stop on many floors on the way up and down. If you want to walk to the MTR it's a fairly long walk of at least 15 minutes, but the complex is served by minibus which will have queues at peak times. Dining options in the immediate vicinity of the property are not too extensive but the hotel restaurant of the adjacent Winland 800 hotel is good and reasonably priced. Staff is generally nice and tries to be helpful. Printing was charged at $10 per page. Putting aside the out of the way location, if you are looking for the cheapest stay possible in Hong Kong while a safe, full-service property with modern fixtures, this hotel is hard to beat.

Staycationed here for 3 nights. I was upon request given a room on high floor (27/F) with good views of container terminal and bridge.

The room is very basic, simple with wise design to increase surface area eg pulling table from wardrobe. One has to bring his own toiletries otherwise has to buy (I love this to save the earth). There's fridge (seem not functional), hangers, cups, green tea bags, disposable slippers, kettle. The room is small and with musty smell. When there're people next door or nearby smoking, I got it too. I think it came via the ventilation system🥵🤭 I have to keep the air conditioner on and high to reduce the nasty smell. Amidst this Covid-19 time, it's not a comfy experience to have such musty and smoky smell.

Hygiene condition is not desirable here. I could see the mold in the shower room. Bed is comfy and cleanliness of coverings/pillow a mere pass.

The location is not bad. There's a shopping arcade with some restaurants and a supermarket nearby. There're two minibuses going to Kwai Fong and Tsing Yi metro stations which have big malls, lots of restaurants, shops and cinemas. The ride is short, within 10 mins.

Not many choices of TV channels, mainly locals.

Guests are mostly, if not all, local people as tourists won't come in such coronavirus days. I believe this hotel used to serve mainland Chinese tourists.

There's a long long and good-looking swimming pool commonly shared by this hotel with the two hotels and the residential estates all next to it and belonging to same estate developer. Unfortunately the pool was not open yet during my stay.

Service so so. Didn't expect much.

Overall the price is great here, but you have to bear the undesirable hygene situation. At such price, I had ever and could stay in many other hotels which are much more tidy and clean in prime location.

The hotel itself is not too bad although it is very basic. Not much amenities si bring your own. The bathroom does not smell good- smells of urine. Only one plug do better to bring adaptor plug that’s good for a few gadgets. I needed to unplug the fridge in order to use my hairdryer. Nice view of the water though. The hotel voucher for breakfast is so little, not enough for anything. The hotel is very far from downtown so it will cost you a fortune for taxi fares.

I booked the hotel for January 22 to January 24. Unfortunately, I couldn’t go because of a visa issue. I explained everything to my booking agent (meituan) emailed the hotel, and even called them. However, they refused to refund me. I do not recommend this hotel. The service is bad, the staff are rude, and they refused to provide any refund. I’ve informed a good friend of mine, who has significant influence in Hong Kong, about this experience. This hotel is a scam with terrible service. Avoid it and find a better option.

The most pathetic place that one could ever find.
Rooms are very small and dirty. Furniture looks like 100years old. Tv is kept at bed level so not kid friendly. Used old soaps and shampoos are kept in the bathroom.

The price of the hotel is good value for the money, the room decent and clean. Hotel is really good for backpack traveller, not so far away from the town, public transportation can be access to subway. Staff is friendly, especially thank for the manager in reception Ms. Kay, she is very friendly and offering excellent hospitality always. I will visit this hotel again when I travel to Hong Kong in the future.

We're a family of five, 3 adults and 2 children. We booked two rooms for 5days & 4 nights and paid online. We requested two rooms near each other and we preferred both rooms to be a one-bed room but upon checking-in there's only one-bed room available so we ended up occupying one double-bed room for the second room.

Initially, the rooms are clean upon checking-in as expected. It's a 3-star hotel so I don't expect much, though they can provide a more personalized service - like, for the first day MUR they can easily notice that our room have 3 pax (me and 2 children 6yrs & 11 yrs. old) they can provide extra pillow for that since each room have only two. I didn't request coz I don't want to be sort of a demanding guest, but if you're in a hospitality field it should be basic and automatic (at least, that's what I believe).

The phone in our room is not working, cannot call our other room from our room phone.

On the 4th day of our stay, our bed doesn't tidied-up like the previous days. Take note, I always hanged the MUR sign before leaving and not forgetting to leave "some token" each day. We're not a messy guests coz I do some wiping and cleaning before leaving so forgetting to redo the bed is not because of too much work in our room.

They change our towels everyday which is a plus points, though they can provide extra since we're three pax in the room. If you're working in a service industry you can easily determine how many people are staying in one room. In our case, it's not that hard to tell, there are 3 sets of toothbrush in the sink, 3 sets of different sizes of shoes and slippers to mention few.

On the other hand, the reception staff is very accommodating (forgot his name though). He can converse very well in English. The doorman is also polite and quiet (I guess he can't speak English that's why he's not talking or greeting the guests that are passing him), but I can see in his eyes on how sincere he is as a lobby staff.

Since our main reason for travelling to Hong Kong is visiting the Disneyland, Ocean Park and Macau so to us the hotel's location is quite good and perfect. There are also restaurants and establishments near the hotel.

Since it's winter time in Hong Kong, the hotel's swimming pool is closed. Which is one of the facilities we usually looking forward to when staying in a hotel, but maybe next time.

Over all, I will rate 4 star. There's always room for improvement. Thanks to those who made our stay comfortable. Till next time. 😊☺️

Isolated location with limited transport options unless you know how to move around like a local. Front desk said only one shuttle per day departs at 08:15am. I see a taxi here and there but I cannot seem to get one. Hotel rooms are basic but clean and decent but the location I am a stones throw from the magnificent HK skyline but am stuck over here like a prisoner.

The staff are helpful but the hotel is not that good. Check-in was fast and smooth. The location was okay.

I booked a non-smoking room but the room still smells. It was small I don't recommend it sadly. But if you're just planning to sleep you may stay since it's a budget hotel.

I’m not sure of they have that service. The hotel reception is small. Maybe they have that service but we did not try to ask.

That is not correct. The hotel is at most a 5 minute taxi ride. Every time I have stayed there (3 times now) I have always taken a taxi from the MTR station.

We didn't take the taxi all the way. We took it about 5 minutes to the MTR and caught the fast train the airport; it's the very next stop.
