This hotel is located near the escalators, walking distance to Graham Street Market, the ferries, Man Mo Temple, Cat Street, etc. This not a fancy hotel, but it is clean and they serve a decent breakfast. The staff is nice and there are many fun restaurants nearby. The famous Kau Kee noodle shop is around the corner - you can't...

Some of the photo's on the website clearly show the hotel in a favorable light and position. There is another Lan Kwai Fong hotel in HK. This hotel is actually located in LKF. This was a small compact hotel with very few amenities. The room and bathroom were very small. I would regard this hotel as a transit hotel rather...

Recently stayed here on our way back from Australia, nice traditional style hotel. Rooms are quite small, but nice, comfortable and clean. The hotel is very central and easy to get around from. There is a restaurant at the hotel however we never ate there. There is also an area where coffee is available in the mornings, and wine and...

This is a small (for Hong Hong) boutique hotel. It does not offer breakfast. The room was quite nice. I chose this hotel because it was located close to some shops that I wanted to visit, but it not actually that close to where the action is on Hong Kong island. Furthermore, if you are booking a stay here, you...

Pre-booked as part of a larger trip, the location is perfect. We occupied room 2806 (28th Floor) with a harbour and city view, which was great. Free high speed wifi is provided to all rooms and also the bonus of a free mobile "Handy Phone" with which you can make free international and local calls. Happy hour in the lounge...

Hotel is nicely located but we booked a harbour view room for our honeymoon. In hindsight should have book a deluxe harbour view room as the bathroom is like a cupboard and the view is limited, we are on 24th floor. it sad really... Its not a bad hotel and the location is great. Will ask if we can upgrade...

The LKF hotel in Central is very near to Central And Sheung Wan station. It is also walkable to Hong Kong Station. HOTEL ROOMS The rooms are very Chinese traditionally furnished with very oriental design. We stayed at the high floor. ( 1805) The view was superb and also not very close to the next building. The patios in each...

The staff at Lan Kwai Fong Hotel never fail to impress me with their service, attitude and professionalism. From the polite greetings, rushing to help when we get out of the taxi...to getting the lifts as we enter the lobby...this place gets it right. The location. So much good food within a quarter mile of the hotel. And venture a...

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
