Neighborhood
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.

I had booked superior room for my 1 week business trip. I reached early in the morning and room was prepared for me and there was no wait at all while checkin. It was quick and hotel details are thoroughly explained by front desk people. They also offered me IHG club membership free of cost which was a great benefit for me in my future trips. They charged 500 HKD PER night amount as a deposit. I used credit card and thus amount was just blocked and not charged. Rooms were a bit smaller if compared to other Asian countries hotel room but in Hong Kong this is kind of standard size. One king size bed, sofa, TV, mini bar, closet, iron, umbrella, safe, study table, wifi, coffee machine were some of the facilities part of the room. Bathroom, wash basin placement was a bit wired. But you get used to it in some days. Breakfast has many options. But there should be more options for vegetarian or Indian people. Near to wan Chai metro station. Approx 500 mts. All market area is nearby. Good restaurants including vegetarian options are near to this hotel. All in all a great hotel at a perfect location.

I have stayed at the Hotel for more than 20 days this year for business, its central location, great customer service (nothing is too much trouble) makes my stay superb. The rooms are new and contemporary and the design actually works really well. The location in central Wan Chai is excellent you are right in the heart of HK Island.

This is a lovely hotel with a great pool on the roof but what makes it stand out is the staff. Tim was exceptional and couldn’t help enough. Eugene and Isabel were also very good and couldn’t help enough. The hotel is also very convenient to everything so we highly recommend. The cleaner on our floor was also excellent! Thank you.

The fitness center is little, there is a sky bar and a good chinese restaurant in front of the hotel. in the middle category it is a very good hotel, clean, good services.

Stay at the Superior room for 5 nights, it's the best hotel I stayed in so far. Given that it's HK here, the room is really spacious. The staffs are mostly young people but really professionals. From the moment we about to reach the hotel, a staff rush out from the door to take our luggage. They are well versed in English and always come with a smile, which is a rare trait in HK. They always greet the customer in delight manner. The facility is more than adequate and comes in good quality. Accessible to over 40 TV channels & a blue-ray reader for you to rent movie from the hotel. The room also provided with travel guide book to recommended tourist spots and food/restaurants. The surprising thing is an Indigo mobile device comes with FREE INTERNET for you to bring outside when you travel (I didn't bring it out, afraid of losing it). You can imagine all sort of amenities and they have it for you. High speed internet, hair dryer, cloth iron & iron board, bath robes, grooming box (tooth brush, toothpaste, comb, shower cap, hair tie, hand soap, etc), mini fridge, espresso machine, tefal kettle, all sorts of utensils & cups (coffee cup, wine glass, etc), working desk and etc. Just take note of the mini bar, IT'S NOT FREE. So don't go chewing on stuff before learning that the food & drinks in the room have additional charges. All the switch to turn on/off lights & curtain are all within a click on button near to the bed, so it's really convenient for lazy person like me. This is a really modern and outstanding way to control the features in the room, which is very new to me. Within the hotel, you have access to swimming pool, gym, sky bar, restaurants, etc. Outside the hotel, it's within few minutes walk to MTR and many nice restaurants are available. Some of the well known place including Toy street, Lee Tung street, Hopewell center (just opposite Indigo), Lockhart street, etc. Of course, all these comes with a luxury cost, which I think it's worthy whenever I want to go for another luxury stay in HK.
