This is a small hotel at the center of Wan Chai, so don't expect resort amenities. It's a good space though for people looking for a no-frills clean, comfortable, and relaxing space to sleep in while in HK island. Service is good, and they have a free cocktail hour (wine and beer) every late afternoon at the 3rd floor lobby/outdoor... More

The hotel is vary close to transportation links and very easy to find. It is located near Wanchai station, ideally located for nightlife. We've booked the simple room but we were upgraded. The room was very nice, spacious and comfortable. Very nice view, facing the mountain. I can definitely recommend it.

The hotel is 5minutes walk away from Wanchai station, and also walking distance to some famous eateries like Kam's Roast Goose and Captial cafe'. As you walk into the hotel you will be impressed by the decor and elegance, especially the reception area at level 3, which appeared most frequent in travellers' photos too. In contrast to level 1 and... More

We were first impressed with the hotel's physical facet - modern, clean, and tastefully decorated. The reception area on the third floor was also as well decorated albeit service from the front desk was not as warm as expected of a typical boutique hotel (this is the third boutique hotel we've stayed in HK). We booked a standard room -... More

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights and it was a great little property. Very modern fit out and the free happy hour wine and beer each night from 5pm to 8pm was a bonus. The room was small but it was designed well and utilised all the space. The location was great not far from Wan Chai MTR.... More

New style hotel. Modern rooms. Serviceable staff and small details to make you feel confortable. Excellent location to see Hong Kong as a tourist. Only one back. Only 2 elevators for guests and service staff made you sometime spend more than you wanted waiting tor the elevator.

I'm Travelling for work, and this little hotel is a cracker. Small, but very comfortable, it's modern design, and hi speed WiFi make it perfect little place to crash between meetings. The Location is PERFECT - right in the middle of Wan Chai, close to everything. Happily stay here again. Good shower as well :-) no breakfast, but good cafe... More

I stayed for 5 nights whilst on a business trip to see the electronics fairs in HK. Hotel room was clean and comfortable with good features. Just don't be shocked by the size of the rooms as they're always small in HK. Lacks some of the amenities of other hotels otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Stay on higher... More

Strategic location. No issue for taxi driver to find this place. I got a corner room which is very spacious. Room is simple and clean. But my friend's room is the standard room, it's smaller & just "standard" hk size.

For the price and location this hotel can't be beaten. The room I stayed in (Suite) was very well appointed and comfortable. My only complaint would be that the lifts can be rather slow but it wasn't that much of an issue. I would definitely stay here again.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
