Have stayed at The Harbourview many times and the stay has always been very comfortable and happy. The hotel is very very conveniently locaiton just few steps away The HKCEC. Excellent place to stay for business travellers who frequent Hong Kong for HKCEC exhibition/events. The hotel is conveniently located close to the shopping area in Wanchai and excellent eating joints...

Very small bathroom, The bathroom door is broken. Staff are very unfriendly. Just expect better standard with the price they are charging. No room service for foods at night. The internet is very slow comparing to other hotels I stayed in HK on my previous trip.

Staff was helpful although didn't quite understand English enough to understand complicated questions. 10 to 15 min walk to Wan Chai MTR, across Gloucester Road using overhead bridge. Airport Express shuttle bus from Hong Kong station stops at Convention Centre, from there just 100 meter walk to the hotel, so plan your luggage properly. Too near to take taxi, but...

It is not often that I find myself taking the time to right a bad report of a hotel, but this place really is a disgrace. You are greated by smart looking staff in pin stripped suits, but very quickly you realise that the suits is the only smart tnhing about this hotel. The rooms are tiny, the double bed...

My friends and I booked a total of 5 rooms between 9 of us. We booked through qantas airways. My partner and I were on the sixth floor. The room had 2 x single beds as they advised previously that we had a double bed. The room was tiny and dark. This is the worst room we have ever stayed...

Good hotel centrally located on Hong Kong Island. They offer transport to the airport. Walking distance to dining, shopping a great nightlife. Easy access to the Metro and only a few stops from ferrys to Macao and the outer islands. Just a few minuts walking to watch the laser show. The in room internet connection is very slow much of...

The location is a bit over-rated as it was a good 10 minutes walk from Wan Chai MTR station. Good thing is that it is located at Wan Chai, which is centralised but at a peaceful residential area. Hotel looks very 3-star, small lobby and small but nice clean rooms. Service was excellent. Even the cleaners were cheerful and polite....

We stayed for three nights during hong kong sevens in a Premier Harbour View room. We had been disappointed that we didn't get much of a harbour view at the last hotel we stayed at in hong kong. But the view from this room was spectacular. The room itself and bathroom were small but it didn't matter, with most of...

The location of this hotel is very strategic; near the Wan Chai MTR station (just 10 mins walk) & it is situated opposite the Hong Kong Convention Centre - when directing your taxi driver to this hotel, please provide them with the address of the hotel because there's a Renaissance Harbourview in the vicinity. The room I stayed in is...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
