Great hotel in many ways. Nice lobby, easy check in process, comfortable and spacious rooms but most importantly, this is an excellent location for sightseeing. There's a 5 minute walk to the ferry to Hong Kong Island or to the metro, which takes you anywhere in Hong Kong. Walk to dozens of great restaurants and shopping and museums. Dont miss the light show on the waterfront at 8pm every nigh, just across the street! The pool was fabulous for lap swimming, just bring a swim cap. Scenic running routes close by, along the waterfront.
This was a great choice for our first family vacation in Hong Kong. There is a little play area outside on the 4th floor (one of very few hotels in Hong Kong that have this), which was very nice for our toddler. There is so much to do in the Tsim Sha Tsui area of Hong Kong. The most enjoyable part of staying at the hotel was using the rock climbing wall. You MUST book it at least 3 days in advance. The hotel is strict about that. I arrived to the climbing wall by myself, because our baby was napping. They asked if I could come back later, and were as accommodating as possible, because they had somehow double booked. In fact, the timing worked out great for us, so that my wife and son could join too. We basically had a whole rock wall room to ourselves, along with a trainer who did an amazing job teaching us to climb. We were able to take turns climbing while the other watched after our son, who played with the giant safety mats. It's $280 HKD total for a maximum of 3 people to get a 1-hour session with a trainer at the rock wall. There is no option to climb without the trainer. If you get the "Sportcation" promotion, you get the 1-hour session for free. Anyway...do the rock climbing wall if possible, and make sure to call or email them to book it at least 3 days in advance. And they may or may not be flexible with the schedule (originally I was told that 3pm would be the only option). The breakfast is fantastic. I'm sure lunch and dinner are great too, but they seemed expensive, so we enjoyed some local restaurants, and also used the mini fridge for our own groceries. If you go swimming, you have to wear a swimming cap. I guess there's a hairy story behind that, though there are a lot of hotels in certain countries (e.g. China) that have that rule. But whatever. It's $68 HKD to buy the swimming cap at the pool. I was very happy with the baby-friendly accommodations at the hotel restaurants and throughout the hotel in general. The baby cot was decent too. And our room had a bathtub, which he absolutely loved playing in. And of course, ask for a room with a view of the Victoria Harbour, if possible. It's really lovely.…
Stayed one night in the hotel. The room was clean and spacious enough. The location and facilities included swimming pools and fitness centre were excellent. We can admire “A Symphony of Lights” in harbour view room. It was convenient for us to book the breakfast and swimming pool through scanned QR code. Well protection for the visitors. The breakfast was diversified and staffs were polite and well-trained. However, air-conditioning might not adequate in the summer and queue was quite long when check in.

I stayed for one night at the YMCA hotel Salisbury. This is the first time I stayed there and it was a pleasant stay. The staff were efficient when check in check out, the room I stayed was clean and had a little bit of seaview which was a nice surprise. Thank you for everything.
Just had a very simple one-night stay as I needed somewhere to work while child had a lesson at the Y, so turned the whole day into a staycation although didn’t get to try any facilities. The room was basic but clean and had a view overlooking the roof play area/half harbour. I took the eco option. The shower gel is shower gel/shampoo on the label; no conditioner. Check-in staff was not very understanding of the western way of names. I made the booking without my middle name and she said she couldn’t find my booking, and when she finally found it she said it didn’t match my ID. True, but not all people actually use their middle names. Other than that, the Y is a nice place to stay. There were no sounds that could be heard from other rooms.
I stayed at the YMCA upon my arrival in Hong Kong for quarantine. I liked the room because the room had a harbour view and was quite spacious. The hotel satisfied all my requests such as room and breakfast upgrades, as well as great delivery and printing services. The hotel has a fabulous location in Hong Kong's most iconic areas at a reasonable rate. The staff are professionally trained and well mannered and offer quality services with a high level of courtesy and standard, from sales to reception, housekeeping to concierage, every detail was perfect. If there is another chance to stay at this hotel, I think it would always be a delightful experience.
The harbour view is nice on 14/F. The staff are super helpful and nice. The room, the swimming pool and the table tennis facilities are not bad. (Free to swim, book in advanced as there are limited quotas due to COVID). The mattress is a bit hard. Recommended to book a harbour view room :)
Our family stayed 2 nights from 29-31 Jul. The service of the staff from lobby security, front desk and restaurant were excellent. Stunning view from the room and well established facilities (4/F children playground and indoor swimming pool). We had an enjoyable moment and will definitely recommend the hotel to our friends!
