Nestled in a central location that guests find convenient for exploring nearby attractions, the Royal Pacific Hotel has been commended for its cleanliness, including pristine rooms and daily towel service. Stayed at the Royal Pacific Hotel for six nights with a child aged seven. The hotel met all expectations for a walk around the city. Located on the main street surrounded by shopping malls, cafes and restaurants. It's a very beautiful park across the street. Metro, waterfront within walking distance. The Hong Kong room is very big, we used to have a sofa for the baby. The sofa really doesn't fold out, but it fits at 5'10". On the floor is a cooler, very comfortable to take water, in the room is a kettle. Breakfast at the time of booking was paid for 2 adults, there were no other options to add a child, only a surcharge is available. Husband went with his son, they say standard. Probably the only downside of the hotel is the cold in the rooms. The air conditioning didn't work, just blew cold. The A25 bus to the airport just outside the hotel, it just couldn't get any closer.

I've stayed here a couple of times already since 1995, mainly for the great location (if you prefer to stay in the Tsim Sha Tsui area) and its value for money.

Royal Pacific Hotel falls short on some basic amenities, with the lack of an iron being a surprising miss for modern standards. The rooms are small, and while the hotel has a good location, the cramped breakfast area means waiting is often part of the routine. For a stay that covers only the bare minimum, it’s fine, but if you’re expecting more convenience and comfort, you may want to look elsewhere.

Ten days at the Royal Pacific Hotel and I was hoping for a total pampering session although it was a business trip! The hotel itself was nice, don't get me wrong, but the service felt a bit... robotic. I mean, Hong Kong is fast-paced, but a SMILE can go a long way, right? I did not get much smiles from the hotel team. There was this one breakfast lady who was an absolute gem – always attentive and helpful. Although she was always wearing the mask, I am sure she was smiling. If only everyone could be like her! The Pixie Nespresso was amazing! Staying at this hotel made me feel like I was contributing to saving the world, thanks to its sustainability efforts. You have to refill your water yourself, though, as there's only one refill machine per floor (as far as I was aware) and no direct water access in the rooms. Gym is small. Housekeeping is good. Oh, and breakfast - the cold oatmeal with yogurt was delicious, but I wish the breakfast menu was more comprehensive considering the price we paid.
I remember that time the water heater decided to take a vacation, Classic hotel drama, I guess. I couldn't help but laugh when the reception suggested I might not know how to use it well. Seriously? I've stayed in enough hotels to write a book about their quirks! But it was fixed when I got back.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but a little more warmth (especially smiles, smiles and smiles - and hi how are you have a good night, good mornings etc) would have made it unforgettable. Just sayin'.

The Royal Pacific Hotel was a very good choice for our stay in Hong Kong. Our room overlooked Victoria Harbour and was a short walk, along Canton Road, to the Star Ferry for a trip across to Hong Kong Island and sightseeing. It was also just a short walk to the waterfront, from where you could watch the Symphony of Lights across Victoria Harbour. On arrival at the hotel, which looks very impressive, we were greeted warmly by the concierge and he took our bags for us. Check-in was easy and we were directed to our room, with our bags arriving within a few minutes. The room was very spacious, with a lovely view, and it was clean, tidy and comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable, there were chairs and the bathroom had all amenities required. For breakfast, we used the Pierside Restaurant, which provided a full buffet style breakfast and was well appointed. We also had dinner in the restaurant, which was very good, with a wide choice on the menu. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Royal Pacific Hotel and would recommend it for a stay in Hong Kong and it was very good value for money and all the staff were professional, attentive, warm and friendly, even when not dealing with you directly.

This is a smoke free hotel, however , the first room 1714 we checked in was filled with heavy cigarette smell. It was like someone has been smoked in the room for weeks that the smell was deeply penetrated into the wall, carpet and curtain. We immediate called the front desk to request a room change, and was told that we have to wait for the approval from the health department.
By the quarantine order no one is allowed to leave the room without the hotel’s instruction., so we have no choice but to wait in this room with the door closed. It took nearly an hour for the hotel to get the room change approval. It was an unbearable one hour that we could hardly breathe in this smelly room. The smell was so strong and obvious that the house keeping staff should have noticed and notified the front desk. I really doubt if this room has been deep cleaned before it was assigned to us.
The second room 2214 was better than the first one, however, the diverter of the shower is hard to pull up, we need to wrap it by a towel to pull it up every time we took the shower. Under the quarantine rule, staff is not allowed to get in the room once the guest was checked in, the hotel should have reassured all the facilities works well before they assign any room to the guest. Over all the hotel facilities is old and outdated, also the general cleanliness is just so so.
How absurd it is to stay in a quarantine hotel that is not even managed to maintain the basic cleanliness and living conditions with an above average price.
The service staff are polite and helpful though.

The hotel is in a good central location with good transportation. There is a bus terminal and bus stops to almost anywhere. And to Macau too. The nearest MTR station is walking distance to Austin station or 10 min walk to TST station. The cons is you can’t find any 7/11 shops or food stalls nearby to buy food/drinks after 11pm. There is no 24 hrs stall nearby. And the dim sum restaurant only open nearby at 11am. There should be more convenience shops nearby.

Every time I visited Hong Kong, I changed hotels and stayed at Tsim Sha Tsui, but I plan to stay at this hotel from now on. First of all, when I saw the forecast that it would rain continuously during my visit, I looked for a place where I could walk to Harbor City Mall and the Star Ferry without getting caught in the rain. The Macau-bound boat dock is also right below this hotel. It is convenient to have restaurants such as Cafe de Coral, convenience stores, and Mannings under the hotel. The hotel seemed to be quite old, but there was no particular smell and it was nice to have an air purifier in the room. I prefer hotels with windows that can be opened, but it wasn't particularly inconvenient. There is a room with a bathtub, so it's great to unwind after a long day, and there's a desk that's great for working. The room is not large, but it seems to be the best value for money hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The location of the hotel is ideal, right on the pier and close to Kowloon Station, so you can easily reach the hotel from the airport by train. From here you can easily explore Hong Kong on foot. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge. The rooms are modern and functional and rather small. The breakfast is average for an Asian hotel.
