Detailed Reviews
Stayed here for a week in November. Check in was reasonably quick and friendly. We had a room with a balcony overlooking Nathan Road. To get to the bed you had to climb the spiral staircase up into a sort of loft. Just be careful you dont hit your head on the bottom part of the staircase. We hung a shirt off it so it was easier to see. The bed was very comfortable and all the linen was good. The room was reasonably soundproof - you couldnt hear the protesters or sirens from outside maybe the aircon noise helped to block it out. We had great views of the protestors from our balcony in Nathan Road on the 18 November. The bathroom facilities were good. reading other reviews re bottled water - we received two complimentary bottles every day. We also found the wifi to be excellent (maybe depends what you are used to). No dropouts and fast. The pool area was lovely but perhaps need to more than one umbrella for shade. We had breakfast included and found it enjoyable. A good range of food available and a chef to cook your eggs. Everything was clean and tidy. Housekeeping were good. In fact one day we went back to our room and housekeeping was inside. She asked if she could see our room key and actually made sure it worked. Good for security as we've stayed at other hotels and housekeeping just let you in and take things without even checking. The location was good. Staff friendly. Overall we had a good stay.

Every time we visited Hong Kong, we would stay in Prudential Hotel because of their location closed to all our activities and within our budget. The MTR station was at the basement of the building and many bus stops in front of the hotel at street level. The taxi fare to the rail station to China was low also. The staffs were well trained , polite and efficient. Regretfully they also no longer to offer the in room wireless phone.

This hotel on Nathan Road is in the perfect location. It is connected to the MTR station at the basement so you don't even have to go outside. There are lots of shops and restaurants on the doorstep and lots of buses too. All of the staff were extremely helpful and moved all my luggage for me (don't use the tiny escalator at the entrance, there is a staff lift where they transport luggage).
Facilities in the room were great, the room was very clean even though the decor was a bit old and tired, and the water pressure could have been better. The room was quite large for Hong Kong, there was even space to do my exercise. There was a lack of power sockets, there was only one on the wall and I unplugged the alarm clock to use another one by the beds. However, I later found that there is a panel in the desk that lifts up to provide two more sockets (see photo). The hotel provides a bag of complimentary drinks, which included water and some soft drinks. Room service was provided every day and there are small bottles of toiletries provided (I did not use these). In the room you get some disposable slippers, a safe, a kettle and a fridge.
The room was very quiet and there was no noise from inside or outside the building. The big windows are provided with a privacy blind (this is see through if it's dark outside and you have the light on). However, the windows are also equipped with sliding boards that block out all of the light from outside. As a female travelling alone I felt perfectly safe in the hotel and in the area. I will seriously consider returning to this hotel next time I am in Hong Kong.

had stay in Prudential Hotel since decades ago. This time was the worst for while taking the lift to room access. The reader in the lift will forever not reading the room key card. It does applies to all hotel guests as well. Everyone will cramp in the lift to try each and one another card to see which will works.

Hotel has great prices, Excellent location, Clean and spacious room, the pool is on top of the roof.
Very convenient to take the MTR to different places in Hong-Kong. However during our stay, the reader in the lift was not reading the room key card, it worked only after several attempts.

Good location. Just a stone throw away from temple street market and walkable to the promenade to see the lights of Hong Kong island. 2 MTR stations away from Hong Kong island. The MTR station is just underneath the hotel. Hotel room is spacious enough. We booked a deluxe room with king bed. Comfortable & very clean. Sensible sized towel so as not to use too much water to clean. Staff is friendly and efficient. Gym & pool is a little dated. I used the gym twice. It had a good enough treadmill and a rowing machine with a multigym but it's very small though. Enough for just 2 people but hardly anyone there. If you're Muslim, the KFC adjacent which is barely 3 mins walk have halal cert with halal dishes (not all) & the big Kowloon Mosque is about 500m away. We took a morning walk to Kowloon Park, it was nice. It had an aviary with a water fountain. If you're staying in Kowloon, you can stay here. It's a little pricey but I guess most, if not all hotels in Hong Kong is priced this way.

We’ve stayed at this hotel before and decided to try it again after some time. The room we stayed was clean and had a bathtub which I enjoyed soaking a lot after a long day. The complimentary soda and water with biscotti is a plus. Although our view last time was always great. We had a view with the building next to the hotel and not as stunning as before. The hotel is a bit dated but still in good condition and most of all the location is prime center. The Jordan station is just under the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby,KFC just infront and 7/11 beside it. Walking distance to Kowloon Park and Victoria Harbor but a bit far though. The breakfast is plated or set now unlike buffet choices before. The front desk accommodated us a bit earlier at 2pm instead of 3pm which was good after a tiring flight. Bed and pillows are just ok. A bit pricey during our stay. The concierge staff are helpful and polite. Down the hotel are lots of shops but have been heydays before and not much to shop now.

Checked in on the whim after not liking accommodation I had booked. Hotel and rooms are nice, clean and tidy. Good view of city and walking distance to temple Street night markets.
I was really disappointed that they couldn't provide any milk alternatives whatsoever at breakfast, hotel needs to up their game on this.
Special shoutout to Alan and Eric the doormen, wonderful lads!
Great location with MRT across Street. I would stay again.

Worst experience possible. No concierge at 6:30am.
No one at reception for first 10mins. No lifts to go upto 2nd floor where the reception is. Only a little escalator that can't take big bags (photo attached with a foot for reference) and finally the worst experience.
I booked a room for 2 nights, requested for early checkin since my flight was coming in at 5am in the morning. I reached the hotel at 6:30am and guess what they want me to pay to get the early checkin. The amount they asked was more than per night of the hotel.
Moreover, this is after I made the request, and called hotel before I departed from Australia. Because if I new this I would have stayed at the airport hotel for 8hrs.
After 10hr flight, customs, immigration and one hour taxi ride, you don't wanna face this mess. On back and forth argument they agreed to give me room at 12 noon. But wait, it's 11:51 am and the front desk says they can't give me the keys before 12. If I want keys before, I need to pay $647. (Photo attached with a time on card) Hahahha I don't know if these people are out of their minds or what.
Above all the staff is not friendly at all. They behave like they are forced to work here. (Photo attached of another gentleman Being argued with).
All in all just avoid this place, many more better options around. Coming from a person writing this review from their lobby after waiting for 5 hours 30mins.

The hotel and location when we went was very safe. There were no riots or disruption at the time.
Personally I would have asked the hotel. They are an international business and I find that they are all accessible to payment structure. Many of the hotels nowadays precharge for the room and prior booking in will charge the amount to your card leaving only extras to pay on checkout.
Perhaps a prepaid tab could be setup
Sorry, although i saw babies and small children, i cannot comment on the availability
